Whitby Jet: No. 52 (Shire Library)

Although only a little book it is full of information about Whitby Jet. It is the second copy I have bought. The first was sent to the USA with a Whitby Jet gift. I did not expect the recipient to know about jet so this seemed the perfect explanation. It is full of pictures and details and the different uses for it. I live in the area and did not know much of the history of the jet. If you are looking for details and information about Whitby Jet then this is the book for you. Well written and well photographed it is a nice book to own on a little bit of Yorkshire history.

A very good little book explaining about Whitby Jet, how to distinguish it from other similar materials, how to look after it and how it should be worn.A really helpful book on a not often discussed subject,

I loved this

I havent read it as it is a present for my sister but it looks an interesting read as it tells you all about the history of Whitby Jet which is why I bought it for her as she loves Whitby Jet.
