I've had this battery in my phone now for a one week. First off, the case that comes with the battery is not sufficient. It works but is super thin and made of a cheap plastic. It does fit well though and will work.The battery itself holds a good charge. Mine came charged to 45% fwiw. I can get an easy two days from a charge now.What I did for a case is this. You can get a "Tech 21" brand case from ebay for $5 to $6 shipped. This is a very nice case and is what I have been using on my V20 for a long time. I used a heat gun, very carefully I might add, to mold this case around the battery. I heated the case only on the side of the battery that is closest to you in the pic I have included. It won't take much heat to do this, and I put my phone in the fridge to cool everything off once I was done, to cool the battery off.Edit, 2/5/20 This battery is wonderful. My accubattery app (which is a great app btw) tells me my battery will last 52 hours. My usage consists of running google maps continuously for 10-13 hours a day, with moderate screen time. I drive semi truck locally and need to have a battery that will last me all day. I've been using it for over a month now and it works perfect. I would not hesitate to buy another.

I was using the default battery for my phone and It kept draining down to where it was almost dead everyday, and I am not a very social person, I mainly used it to check up on current events, and every now and then text or call people or respond to people doing so to me, I even tried installing firefox instead of chrome, because supposedly chrome eats up battery twice as fast as firefox, my battery was still draining quickly, though not as quickly. So I sought out a different battery, and due to real world situations I wasn't able to go to the store in person, so I ordered from Amazon. I was a little dissappointed with the size of the battery, its twice as thick and required me to use the case that came with it, instead of my own case, but after using my phone for the next few days I was very excited to learn that I was barely eating up 10% battery per day now. I'm very pleased by this battery. It really helped me out when I drove out of town and needed to use my GPS the whole way, that trip took up 30% battery, and I was using the bluetooth to listen to music on the way there. I highly recommend this to anyone having issues with the LG V20.

The battery is great and seems has a significantly longer life. So no complaints about the battery itself.However the case it comes with (required to fit the battery) constantly pressed my volume down button. It was unusable as a phone and as media device with the case before I modified the case. But given 2-3 minutes and a small knife, I fixed the issue!If your case is pressing your buttons (yes, pun intended, sorry), you can carefully cut off that part (the volume button cover) of the case. I would recommend doing this while the phone is out of the case, with a small knife, making small scratches that you slowly deepen until it cuts through. I had better luck cutting from the inside of the case. Make two straight cuts---it might take 10 passes if you're slowly deepening a scratch---at the top and bottom of the button cover. Don't worry about making it slightly too big, there is no problem if you remove too much. To finish the hole, I found it easiest to make four diagonal cuts (two per each side):Top cut========/ \ (each slash is a diagonal cut)\ /========Bottom cutIn total this took me only 2-3 minutes and resolved all of my issues with the case.

Standby drain was killing both of my other batteries despite one of them being relatively new. When delivered, the battery came with about a 25% charge. I drained completely and fully charged it twice. I've had it for just over a month now and it lasts about two days with moderate usage (three to four with light usage). No issues with fast charging, and standby drain hasn't bothered me once. Just be prepared for a much larger battery compared to the manufacturer's.My only complaint is that I'm not a huge fan of the material that the case is made out of. It doesn't feel like it has a good enough grip for my liking. The design of the case works well though, no issues with it interfering with my screen protector and it doesn't affect my ability to reach the fingerprint sensor.Overall, I'm very satisfied with my purchase and will update if anything changes.

I have used this battery for only a few days so have no idea how it will hold up over time....but....I and my adult daughter are real happy with it so far. The extra thickness turns out to not be a big deal for us as the protective cases we were using were pretty thick too. The pocket friction on the plastic on the replacement case is just right for my pockets....some folks might prefer to apply a piece of that super thin, super grip sticker material. So far, I have had no issues with the replacement cover becoming lose or coming off.....the fit is nice and snug. Oh yea....the charge on the battery ROCKS in comparison to the stock battery. Now...can everything work well for a couple of years till the new 5g foldables/bendables come down to thinkable prices? If we have any problems with this LGV20 aftermarket battery...I will update this review.
