These lids were just like the much more expensive lids I had purchased last year somewhere else. They arrived in good time also. I used them for a baby shower and tied a packet of flower seeds on each jar. They were a great gift for the guests. So many people wanted to know where I got the lids and of course I told them Amazon!! Just a note, the lids are not as sturdy as those on the canning jars, but are cute and work just fine.

I love the look of these lids. However, I struggled like you can't imagine to find a straw to fit in the center. I think if you go with the mega slim metal straws you may be okay, but I can't even say that for sure. I did buy the absolute slimmest plastic straws that I could find and they were still just a tad too big. The frustrating part is in the description it lists the diameter of the hole and according to the straw information it should have fit. It didn't. Luckily, my husband is handy and just drilled the center hole bigger in every lid. It was a bit tedious, but my last resort.

The lids fit mason jars and generic brand jars. You can even fit the flat mason jar id under the daisy lid. I made smelly jelly for Christmas gifts at work. I was able to put the flat lid on the jar under the daisy lid to keep the smell in until I gifted them. It also allowed the gift receiver to control when to take the lid off and release the smell.

These are a really cute way to dress up a jar for the purpose of throwing a party or for a fun afternoon picnic in the yard. We have washed these and used them over and over again. The only thing to keep in mind is that there will be spills when you use these, especially with kids. Also, one of our guests had a bug fly into their drink. Oops. While these are lids, they are lids with decorative HOLES in them. IF I had to do it again, I would probably buy some lids that were embossed on the top so that the lids could still be used as actual lids.

I ordered these along with straws for a party and when I went to put the straws in the middle hole it wouldn't fit and these are not large straws. Very disappointed I ordered them for a party and now won't be able to use them unless I get small coffee straws which do not match my theme.

First off, I would like to state that I very very rarely write poor reviews, but in this case I feel like I need to warn people before others buy and are disappointed in this product.The design- Perfect. I love the pattern and open top feel, I tested the center and petals with a paper straw and it fits inside perfectly. I was planning to use these at a bachelorette party for my friend, so I wasn't concerned with spilling drinks or getting bugs in the jar like some people may be. They also fit perfectly on the 2 regular size mason jars (one with a handle and one without) that I tested it with. So for my purpose, these lids would be perfect…. in theory.The HUGE downside is that I washed the lids in the dishwasher before the party and ALL OF THEM RUSTED! After only one wash through the dishwasher there was rust around the cutouts of the design. Even worse is that the rust will not come off, no matter how hard I try to remove it. It seems that the rust is primarily on the inside of the lid- so I am guessing that the top is coated with something while the inside was left alone and untreated.So, beware: If you are looking to use these for a formal event or on a daily basis where you will be washing them frequently- they will rust FAST. So make sure you hand dry them very very well after cleaning. Which is a major pain. I wish this was stated before I bought them. I would have skipped out on this purchase to save me the headaches and money.

Super cute and the right price. I saw some other comments that complained about the scratches. Some of them were less than pristine, but it didn't bother me. It was all part of the rustic mason jar look. If you want fancy and pristine you have to pay for it. These did the job without breaking the bank.

Fit 8 oz mason jars perfectly for a birthday party. Center hole for straw is on the narrow side - but fits all sorts of easy to find colored festive straws. Easy for 8-9 year olds to fit on and off of jars on their own to refill drinks. GREAT for a party.
