I would say yes.. It's primarily plastic, with a very minimal amount of metal.. It should give you a few good washes before the metal starts to rust or something like that..

It is really sturdy...they are pretty good shoe trees

Yes, size 12 would be the upper limit. It does not fit a 13.

Great Value For The Money. Doesn't Seem Very Sturdy

For <10 dollars, I'm not sure if you can find a better quality for the price on amazon. These do the job of maintaining my shoe's shape. I gave this a 3/5 since when adjusting the shoe trees, they felt very fragile and like the plastic could break within a few months of use. Again, I think for the price, you're getting more than what you're paying for

A Bit Small

These shoe trees are OK but a little too small. I wear size 11 1/2 shoes, and, even when extended to their full length, these shoe trees are too short to give a good stretch to my shoes.

I Found What I Needed!

These shoe trees will come in handy. I have several pairs of shoes that are a little narrow because they were made outside the US. Until I looked on Amazon, I wasn't able to find any shoe trees anywhere! Now that I found some, I can stretch my shoes out a bit so they'll fit more comfortably.
