Fit for Consumption: Sociology and the Business of Fitness 1st Edition

For one who have studied and written on the fitness industry, this book is informative. It is, however, difficult reading. It is understandable for a dissertation as the audience is different. She could have used other sociological theorist like Goffman, and Blumer in her discussion, but chose to zero in on Bourdieu and Foucault. This book might be difficult to understand if you are not an academic.
