Flexitol Nail Revitaliser Gel by Flexitol

Since my therapist recommended the Flexitol range of products for me, I have not stopped using it. The nail-gel sits in my bag wherever I go.

Rather slow delivery and the packaging was damaged, on saying that, the product is in a sturdy tube so was actually fine. I havent had the item long enough to comment on its effectiveness, but if its like the other flexitol products, it will be good..

Amazing my nails have improved

Bought this ages ago but never got round to using it. However a few weeks ago I started using every evening. It's amazing. I had really horrid looking nails on ring finger and opposite number on right hand. This was due to having shellac removed by an over enthusiastic 'beautician' who used a sand scraper type object which resulted in fungal nails as she must have damaged the nail bed.Well that must be around 5 years ago. No idea why just those two nails were affected but I tried numerous products to get rid of the issue with no results. Anyway I found this product in a drawer and thought I would give it a go. It really does work and I have normal nails again. Delighted.

Honestly, I bought this in the pharmacy where I work as I had recently learned of how good urea products are at battling toenail fungus during my pharmaceutical science training. I’d tried Nailner products in the past, but the brush-on variety caused the skin and cuticle around my toes to turn red, puff up and itch like crazy! Not only that, it caused my large toenails to detach from the nail bed! 🤬I honestly thought my toenails were done for. For months they wouldn’t re-attach, merely growing to give me half a nail’s worth of white space where the nail should’ve been, and I was seriously considering getting them permanently removed because of how ugly they looked.Then I tried this product in a last ditch effort to at least make the thickened ugly white space presentable in the short term.I used it twice every day - morning and night. I applied it to ALL my toenails as the Nailner had done a good job of infecting the rest somehow..... 🙄After a few weeks, I couldn’t believe the difference. My nails weren’t chalky and brittle, they were slowly turning pink again, flexible!!! 😱Better yet, after persevering for a few months, I was surprised to find my nail was attaching again as it was growing??? Instead of a short ugly nail with a huge white space, it was filling in again before my very eyes.I even got a bit emotional 🥺It’s been 2-3 months of twice daily consistent treatment, and my big toenails are almost completely grown out again! Just the corners need to catch up now, but they look almost back to normal! And the rest of my toenails are all back to normal again, as this has killed any small trace of fungus the Nailner spread to them.Use this if you have similar problems to me - don’t bother with products like Nailner! Honestly, I don’t know how that’s still on the market 😳I should add, I filed my large toenails only a few times in the 2-3 month period of treatment - the urea in this product does a fine enough job of softening the thickest of toenails with daily application, so don’t worry too much about daily or weekly filing that other products ask you to do. I just gave mine one really good file before the first application, and then another one about a month later.Another thing to mention - the brush head doesn’t discolour even after months of use. Unlike the Nailner one where I noticed it going darker and yellow over time, as well as fungal particles swimming about in the solution 🤢The urea and the hydrogen peroxide mix in Flexitol really just doesn’t allow bacteria or fungi to grow. It’s a wonderful moisturising mixture, in contrast to other products that feel abrasive and cause pain around the nail skin and cuticles.I’m never buying anything again but Flexitol!I recommended it to the rest of the girls at work, one of them is a runner, and she can’t believe the difference either. My mother also has very thick large toenails because of trauma, not fungus, and this has improved them incredibly! It hasn’t got them looking back to normal, but her nail has also re-attached to the nail bed and is looking less thick after months of consistent treatment :)Obviously, it has to be said - ensure you’re not allergic or sensitive to any of the ingredients prior to use!Another good tip - don’t apply it straight after a shower or bath as your nail will absorb that water, making the solution less effective. Let your nails dry out about an hour after they’ve been in the shower or bath - then apply!And I implore you - try this product before you try anything else! It’ll save you so much time in the long run :)
