My mistake was assuming that their hardware software bundle was better than the Amazon Prime offered bundle for $69
I received the Pioneer BDR as advertised above and the install was a breeze on Windows 10. That's about it.The setback is that the software sold in the bundle is the Trial Version Nero 12 Essentials DVD & not the white & red DVD shown in the picture above. Additionally, this software also doesn't come with a proper serial number so you can't reach out to Nero for assistance either.FYI, Nero 12 means that it was originally sold in 2012.I reached out to the seller Produplicator to see if they could remedy the purchase as their stated advertisement says "Nero Software ($20 Value)".Their response was to simply suggest that I return the bundle.My mistake was assuming that their hardware software bundle was better than the Amazon Prime offered bundle for $69.99 even though they are exactly identical in every way.Next time I'll do my homework in advance and save the difference.

Works great right out of the box. Easy to use.
I put this in an external enclosure and it was recognized right away and I was able to use it for what I needed. Great blu ray reader for sure. I only wish I had picked it up a bit earlier.

Software does not match drive
Drive works just fine. The Nero 12 software is for a Liteon drive, so some of it does not work.

Great drive, works flawlessly
It was a very good replacement for my old dvd-rw. Installation was very easy and the computer recognized it right away. The Nero software was a nice bonus.

So far, so good...
Got these to replace a couple aging Blu-ray recorders. These are perfect thus far. Great write speeds. As for install its an internal drive so if you can drive four tiny screws and plug in two cables you can install these.

No Soft ware to play Blue ray!
The Drive is fine and works good, but if they would have mentioned you have to buy software to play Blue rays I would not have purchased it.. What a Crock! it should come with the Software! So be ready to spend $50.00 more on Winfast blue ray player if you want to watch Blue ray

My computer hates it.
I have a Dell XPS Tower PC, and after I installed it in addition to my DVD-R drive, my computer kept crashing and giving me the blue screen of death. In short, my computer doesn't like the hardware. Anything I can do to remedy the situation?
