Quality product
Very nice habitat for my pet squirrel. Now she has an outdoor area in addition to her indoor area. I recommend A&E cage co products. Amazon's 3rd party delivery service was unprofessional for this large item.

Love this Cage
This is a good and solid aviary. I have had one for about two years now. It has been an indoor aviary for my Cockatoo. This summer moved it outside on the downstairs patio. Now during the daytime it house three parrots (Amazon, African, and a Conure) who loves being outdoor. The Conure use it as a flight cage. Only reason it get 4 stars than 5 stars it is hard to line up all the bolt holes when putting it together. Other wise it is simple to put together if everything lines up. I have another one coming for my basement since it is to heavy and awkward to move.

made of heavy guage wire and steel spot welded with a good powder coating
Cage is well built, made of heavy guage wire and steel spot welded with a good powder coating. It comes in 30 separate pieces that have to be screwed together and there are NO INSTRUCTIONS. I called the 800 no. who conifrmed there were no instructions, but he offered to help over the phone. The parts have to go together in a certain way to accept the screws, in some panels the wire gets in the way making it very difficult to insert the screw, and a few holes did not line up. It takes 2 people 4 hours to put together, but once finished, it is a nice solid cage.

Best birdcage you can buy
We've had many bird cages over the years and this is definitely the best. It took about two or three hours for two men to put together. You need to have a drill some of the holes are not aligned. You will love it once you get it together and so will your parrots. The design makes it very easy to hang a multitude of toys and perches. We found that the easiest way to keep the bottom clean was just to put down an old bedspread.

Some issues but the birds love it anyway
The aviary I received had two notable defects. The first was a couple of bent bars on one of the wall panels. Nothing too bad, but I could see very small birds entering/exiting through the gap on one side, and very large birds possibly getting a foot trapped on the other side. I just put some toys in that area such that the bad spacing would be covered. The other issue is that the food dish mechanism has a bit of excess metal preventing it from hinging properly. I can’t access the middle dish at all. I tried contacting A&E directly but didn’t get a response. If they ever see fit to get back with me and replace the part I’ll raise my review.

Nice Cage!
Nice sturdy cage. Well manufactured. The lack of assembly instructions leaves a bit to be desired and resulted in some backtracking, but overall not a huge issue.

Excellent cage - spacious and well built
This is a roomy cage that is well built and functions well. We are very pleased and recommend it highly. We have it in our sunroom and it is the centerpiece of our home. The parrots have taken to it and seem happy and comfortable. We purchased this cage for our two parrots - a Blue headed Pionus and a Senegal Parrot. They had previously been in a 8 by 10 foot room, free to fly around during the day time, and had started chewing the floor and window trim. When we moved, we were looking for something that would give them room to fly in. The A&E Cage is made of powder coated iron and is very well made. I had no issues installing it or using it, no parts missing or damaged in shipment. My brother helped me with installation. All parts went together well and the doors and feeding gates fit well. For perches I purchased 6 foot long, 1-1/4 inch diameter dowels from Lowes (about $8 each) and cut slots in the ends with a table saw.Couple of tips to pass along. If you plan to use a flooring material, install it in location before building the cage on that surface. We used a sheet vinyl floor as it was easy to clean. We built the sides before adding the roof. Call the A&E Cage company on any questions, they are great with customer service and will provide as much help as they can...useful practical tips on building the cage...I contacted them several times by phone and email.
