Unless you want the spend the money for a Cutco, get this knife. I usually use my rapala cordless fillet knife, but I wanted a quality blade for final clean up etc. I now find myself using this instead of my electric. Stays sharp and durable. Easy/ergonomic handle. I used if for walleye and northern pike. I have not tried it on crappie yet, but that will be soon....

Best knife I’ve ever owned. Makes filleting a walk in the park. Really appreciate the little file on the holder for touch up sharpening.

I like that it comes with a built in knife sharpener and a sturdy sheath.

Ordered the gerber and castking together. Out of the box it's not even close. The gerber is noticably sharper and feels great in hand along with a great sheath. You need to push knife all the way into sheath inorder for it to be secure. This knife should do great with fish.

Nice feel in the hand, sharp out of the box. Great flexibility. Needs little sharpening to be at its best, but than as good as sandvik fillet knife.

I haven't owned anything close to the sharpness/quality in ever. As a millennial, I can say I bought this for proper fish cutting, but I use it for corned beef this holiday evening, and laughed at the great quality. Can't wait to sharpen it with the one it comes with.

This appears to be a very good knife even though I haven't gotten to use it yet. Exceeded my expectations.

I like this knife, nice having a place to sharpen the knife when out in the field.
