Water Gear Seahorses Dive Toys - 4 Pieces Sea Animals Kids Diving Toy for Learning How to Swim Underwater and Pool Parties

The Water Gear Diving Seahorses are brightly colored and very kid appeal-able. However, they do not stand up on the pool bottom as advertised so the kids can easily dive down and grab them from an upright position. The seahorses collapse over onto their side when they reach the pool bottom. The weights which are meant to keep them upright on the pool bottom are useless except to ensure that they do sink slowly to the bottom of the pool. This means that the kids either must catch them as they sink or dive all the way to the bottom of the pool and slide their fingers on the pool bottom underneath the seahorses to retrieve them. So, they are not real fun for beginning divers and can cause scrapes on little fingers sliding across the pool bottom.

Seahorses worked great for new 2yr old swimmer who is just learning to dive. They weighted bottom keeps them erect and they sink slowly so she can catch them near the surface and swim back to edge. Mom is using them to teach colors to make the games fun. Little one stand them up on shallow steps to gradually challenge herself to dive. Overall great fun for the money until child is ready for real diving. Not the best quality but lots of pool fun.

These were perfect for the swim class I was teaching! The kids loved diving for them or trying to get to them before they hit the bottom. I've used them all summer and they haven't faded or lost their weight.

Seahorses held up to pool but not the fabric bag. After 2 months of pool play 3-4x week one of the four seahorsed broke at the weighted end. They do not sink well without the wt end (seahorse feet). Be very careful when placing in the bag.

Had these as a kid in the 90s. Still a fantastic toy❤️🙏🏻

My daughter had fun diving for these. They sit upright at the bottom of the pool and are made of durable plastic. They are exactly as they appear in the photo.

Excellent. My granddaughter loved them. Easier for her to grab than some other toys because these stand up in the water.

These are great! Much better than the rings that work the same way. Our rings broke after just a couple months. These lasted all summers and are still kickin it!
