These garbage bags are strong and flexible and hold up well to overstuffing.

We recently and sadly lost our local recycling service centers, so we needed a bigger trash can -- we keep it inside the garage right by the door to the kitchen and fill it with all household waste. I purchased a 40 gallon can but then had trouble finding bags for it. I finally found Hefty bags large enough to fit, but they would rip to shreds at the top getting them out because of the way you have to stretch the bags around the lip of the can so they don't cave in. I read a lot of reviews and ordered these -- SO many bags (90!) for your money, and man, are they sturdy! I've used a few now in my can -- still plenty tight at the top to stretch around the lip of my can and not cave in, and they have been easy to remove with no ripping at all at the top (or anywhere else, no matter how full and heavy). These will last me months, and when I run low, I will definitely be ordering more.

These stand up to weight and pointed edges. Took out a bag for trash the other day weighed over 40 lbs. full of clothes and books. These bags have a honey comb kind of layer reinforcement. I bought one box of 90, and after I received it I bought another. Also the pull string closures work better than others I’ve tried. You will not be disappointed with the quality.

I've purchased these twice so far. They are a good bag with many uses. I've used them for their intended purpose, garbage, as well as packing up winter blankets and jackets. I've stuffed them with items for the good will to brimming, and even used them to clean up after a minor renovation project. I've even reused the They seldom RIP or tear, and they do not let moisture in or out. Granted, I've gotten a couple of bag bags but for the price and quantity, it's a negligible loss. They have tough drawstring handles and the folded edges that the drawstring runs through don't tear easily. I would say they perform the same, if not better, than the expensive, name-brand competitor trash bag.I will definitely buy these again.
