Seems To Help
My mother who passed away recently used to do all the gardening and I used to let her look after the garden (I got to cut the grass).Anyway, I have used the remainder of this up and the plants seem to be doing okay and may invest in some more.

Excellent Plant Food
This Solabiol Plant Food has proved to be a really excellent, good quality all-round plant food. We don't have a huge garden, however the soil isn't great, so this has proven very good for perking up the various shrubs and plants we have planted. It's beauty is that it is so easy to use; just sprinkling on the surface and then a good watering does it. Also, being the owner of two dogs, it's reassuring to know that the food is pet safe. At £5.38 for an 800 gram box, this is very good value for money, too.

One easy feed for everything
My partner usually swears by miracle grow, but that requires dissolving in a watering can. When watering with a sprinkler you are out of luck. If you use a hosepipe, you either have to use a watering can first, or one of hose messy hosepipe reservoirsThe Solabiol is much easier to use; just sprinkle on the ground and water in, using either a can, hose or sprinkler (or let the rain do it for you if it isn't windy and you are lazy!).Up against the Miracle grow, there's not much in it; they are about the same, although the Solabiol pellets are definitely easier to use.Against targeted feeds (we were testing against a tomato feed on our tomato crop, with one tomato plant placed a little away and using the Solabiol), the tomato feed had the edge as expected, but the Solabiol still worked very well. If you plant out only a few veg (which is what we do) it may be cost effective just to go with the one universal feed; my guess is that all these products have a shelf life and keeping excess tomato feed over to the next year affects its usefulness. But the most important point; the tomatoes tasted just as good, and *always* far better than shop bought. At the current prices, its stupid not to give it a go whatever feed you use; a few medium sized pots and you are away!So overall, a good all round plant feed. Easy to use and effective.Oh... and as one half of an long running gardening pair (she does the thinking and I do the digging; a setup that has stood the test of time for 25 years!) one final thought. The beauty of having one feed for everything is you don't build up a collection of all sorts of different feeds over the years, many of which get moldy and never reach the bottom of the box!

A small scoop lasts a very long time.
Great plant feed. Easy to use. I put a scoop of it in my watering can and then fill. The plants were very strong this year. And I seem to have more flowers than usual. This box has lasted me well. I used one scoop a week. And I still have a lot left.

Very easy to use plant food for a really wide range of garden fruits, flowers and shrubs.
These grey pellets are full of plant nutrients and are so easy to use, I am very pleased with them. At this time of year particularly, with fruit, flower and ornamental plants all needing a boost, it is very convenient to be able to use the same product for all these plants. The differing dosages are clearly spelled out on the packet and that helps to prevent over feeding or under feeding. As the dose only has to be repeated at 6-8 week intervals, the feeding is not onerous at all. We have not had much rain recently and we have sandy soil so I did water the garden after applying the feed to ensure some of it got to the roots. Only a longer time will tell if it continues to be so good but on plants it seems to be really helpful so far. I have not used it on grass so cannot comment on its properties for lawns. The only reason for four stars, not five is that it is rather expensive compared to some competitors.
