I am a skinny dude trying to gain some mass on a budget so when I found this I figured it wouldn't hurt to try it for the amount, good price, and positive taste reviews. As a novice in knowledge of protein powders, I do feel very fulfilled after not even drinking the entire shake (usually accompany it with a good portion of food). The taste is very delicious, but even better when I add a banana or strawberries and sometimes a bit of chocolate syrup to enhance the taste. Very pleased with a product and will purchase again once I run out!

Best deal ever for weight gain--I knocked one star because I like their chocolate flavor just a little bit more. Anyway, as the title implies, the biggest draw for me was the value of this gainer; it provides a little over 5.3 Calories per penny! The next best comparison I could find on Amazon was Inner Armour Inc Par Mass Peak Gainer 8.8Lb, which is priced at about 3.7 Calories per one cent. There really isn't a one-to-one comparison for any of these nutritional supplements (supplements means you gotta keep eating solid food!!!) but these are pretty much explicitly aimed at weight gain.I calculated my prices before shipping because I have AmazonPrime, so expect a slightly smaller number if you don't have free shipping... Overall, I'd go with Champion Nutrition Heavyweight Gainer again, but probably switch back to the chocolate flavor.Also, to those who worry about its ability to mix, then you're barking up the wrong tree--this is meant to help put as many calories in you as possible (read ad nauseam), which will be a lot less comfortable than worrying about a few lumps going down the hatch!

I have ordered about 4 of these so far. Best tasting post workout calories recovery drink IMO. This really DOES taste like a chocolate shake, none of that chemical taste.Good #2 as well. No runs like some other products.I use this on days I play hockey as a pick me up after playing.

I love this product. I've been using it religiously for two months and it's definitely helping. I'm naturally a very skinny guy, as an ectomorph with a ridiculously fast metabolism I have to consume at least 3000 calories a day to gain, and then to maintain what I do gain. I started at 138 lb. and with using this product and hitting the weights I've gained 20 lb. in two months.Yes, you do need to mix it with milk to get the full 900 calories, I don't see why people are complaining about this; it tastes better with milk. Also, you definitely need a hand-held blender/mixer to mix it well, (a shaker will never mix it thoroughly and leave it clumpy) and those hand-held blenders are cheap and can be had for less than $30 and are easy to rinse clean for your next use.I'm very pleased with the product and rest assured I'm getting a solid 2000+ calories of my required daily diet without physically eating 3000-3500 calories a day, and each full serving also consists of 51 grams of beef/whey/egg protein.Each full serving consists of four full scoops, each jug comes with its own measuring scoop, and there are 21 servings per container.I highly recommend this product and always buy it from AllStar Health through Amazon. Great price and cheap shipping. And, they ship fast. I get an email confirmation as soon as I order, then the next morning an email that it's been shipped, and I have always gotten the shipment two days later. This is one of my husband's favorite protein powders to drink- and he has tried many. He has purchased this for years form a different source, but this was the first time from Amazon. It was at my request that we ordered the powder from Amazon, and unfortunately Amazon gets a big fat F for packaging! The two containers arrived together in a box with no protection around them, and the rigid plastic containers had cracked in transit (I assume- surely they wouldn't send us cracked ones right?), and there was chocolate powder everywhere in the box. We immediately had to transfer what was left of the powder in his old container that was just about empty. We will not be ordering this again from Amazon- but we will still continue to get this protein shake, because it is excellent. Choco is my husband's favorite, but he has tried the others, and likes them all.

I buy this for my husband. He has esophageal cancer. Just finished his radiation & chemo treatments. He has lost considerable amount of weight. We are using this to help him gain his weight back and it is working. We bought chocolate first time. Then the vanilla the second time. We like the vanilla because it has more options. We put fresh strawberries and bananas in it. Also peanut butter or caramel. We blend it with whole milk, add ice. Can also use as a caramel frape, whipped cream on top and all. We would recommend this for anyone who is trying to gain weight. Also a good substitute for the boost or ensure drinks.Krista & Robbie
