What is the difference between this tape llp17120377b (asin b07p9jc46t) and llp17120542b (asin b07rgf7wj2)?

The adhesive carrier material is different, b07p9jc46t is a PE carrier and b07rgf7wj2 has no carrier material, but blended adhesive (same technology as 3M VHB). b07p9jc46t provides instant bonding with pressure, b07rgf7wj2 needs curing time and when it sticks longer the bonding is stronger. ASIN: b07p9jc46t is much thicker and vulcanized from PE resin, coated with rubber adhesive, it works for uneven surface or outside of car deco.

Does this work on brick? Looking to mouth object to outside of house but don't want to drill. Other foam mounting tapes have failed from cold & heat.

I used this tape to mount metal signs to plastic surfaces. It is very sticky and the foam helps it stick to a textured surface. My only concern with the brick is that it needs to be free from dust and dirt that would loosen and ruin the adhesion. if the surface is clean and perhaps sealed it may last longer. My project has held up well. It has been through one winter in Alaska so far.
