Easy to install
Good value and easy to install so made it a cheap fix for my washing machine.

Fits perfectly and deliverd within 12 hours. It's worth checking your brushes are the same as the picture. Mine is a nidec motor the best kind is washing machine motors but I think sometimes hotpoint fit other brands that arent so good

Cheap, functional, but noisey
These were great for a quick-fix, but until the carbon brushes bed in they are really noisy, generating a "ticking" noise as they go round due to the tips needing to wear down into a curve that matches the motor rotation and not helped by the very cheap springs inside them.I'll assume they'll quieten and bed in eventually.

Washing machine fixed for £12
Our washing machine stopped spinning. Took it apart to check belts and bearings etc, and through various web searches found that worn brushes could be the primary cause.Removed ours and that was the cause.Using Amazon Prime got these delivered the next day. Perfect fit and are exactly the same as the ones removed, so these will hopefully last another 12 years.Simple to fit yourself, and plenty of videos online on how to do it if unsure.
