AccutimeKids Batman Analog Quartz Watch for Boys, Girls & Adults All Ages

I just bought this for my six year old son, so these are my initial thoughts:It looks like a great quality watch, like I paid a lot more than I did for it. He previously had a watch with a similar "time-teacher" design, where the minutes were on an outer circle as this one. His old watch had a number on every tick instead of just 60, 15, 30, and 45 as this one does. Since he has gotten better at telling time from using his old watch, I think this one will be just fine and he has had no issues with being able to tell what time it is without the numbers being labeled by fives. I like the plastic flexible wristband. His old watch was velcro, and being a boy, there was always stuff stuck in it! No issues with that on this watch. The reason I had to replace his old watch was because the outer minutes area turned like a dial. I don't think it was supposed to, but it would shift around and therefore when it was, say, 12:30, the minutes dial would not be on the 30, it would be on the 45 or some other random number. That makes it really difficult for a kid who is trying to learn how to tell time! I'm not sure if it was supposed to turn or not, but anyway there is no issue with that on this watch as it is all one piece.He had specifically asked me for a Batman watch, but a lot of the ones I had seen in the store were digital. He is old enough to know how to use a watch/clock, so I didn't want to make things that easy on him and go digital :)We've only had the watch for a few days, but so far he loves it and so do I. Money well spent! Highly recommend, but will update this review if anything changes.

This is a decent quality watch for my 6 year old. I've always been a watch guy and my son wanted to start wearing one also. We got him a cheap digital model that broke fairly quickly. I wanted to find him something a little more heavy duty. The casing on this watch is nice and solid and it feels like it can take a beating that a 6 year old is likely to give it. The strap is a decent quality rubber that feels like it will last. I really liked that the hands are labeled with "hour" and "minutes". It's helped him learn how to tell time and within a day he was telling time on his own. He's had this since Christmas and it's held up exactly like I had hoped it would. It also comes in a nice tin that you can store the watch in or loose change ect.

I have grown weary of being asked what time it is so my 8 year old picked this watch from 3 choices I showed him. I wasn't thrilled with the bright blue hand in the picture so I was pleasantly surprised to find the color on the actual product was more subdued. I was even more pleasantly surprised that the watch came in a very cool retro batman tin. The watch seems to be of good quality and is very handsome. The rubber band has that nice soft feel of those popular cause bracelets. The fit on his slim wrist is about half way through the holes. Overall, an excellent value. If these continue to be sold with the tins, this will be my go to gift for similar aged little guys.

Item came as pictured and timely as a gift for a child who lost his watch. He's 8 years old and can tell time on an analog watch. Something you don't see much anymore in our youth. It was worth getting to see the smile on his face.

I love that this watch has labeled minute and hour hands. I bought this watch for my grade school son who often confuses the hour and minute when telling time. This watch helps him learn to read time correctly so he can get where he needs to be on time. Its an awesome tool for children who are currently learning to tell time. I just wish it had a button to illuminate the face in the dark but overall...Love it!

This is beautiful watch which comes in a beautiful box. I gave it as a gift to my nephew and he absolutely loved it. The watch is sturdy, good material and obviously good quality. It comes zip tied into the box so you might want to cut that first because once my nephew saw it he wanted to wear it straight away but couldn't get it out the box until he got home. At the same time its good to know that the watch has not been used. The hour and the minute are clearly marked. I have nothing negative to say about this watch, but will update this review if necessary.

The pros: My son really likes this watch. It helped him learn how to tell time with the help of mommy and daddy explaining it to him. By the time his 1st grade class got to there time telling lesson he already had it down and was able to help his class mates. The band fit fine and I did not have to make additional holes in it like others commenters stated. The cons: The reason for the 3 stars is the part that holds down the extra strap broke within a week of wearing the watch. Also, the face to the watch scratches very easily. With that said you really cant expect to much from a $10 watch. For me the pros out weigh the cons and I would purchase again as a gift for a child that was learning to tell time and liked Batman.

My son has had this for a couple of years and loves it. It's stood up to intermittent wear by a 5 -6 year old. I recently purchased one for my 4 year old nephew so he can have a watch like his older brothers. It's very attractive and well made and at a price that doesn't make you fear to give a younger child. I also appreciate the clear numbers (no roman numerals, etc) and the "hour" and "minute" written on the hands.Very happy with this watch!
