Great EDC Item – Perfect Size and Very Convenient
This SABRE Tactical Pepper Gel is a great addition to my everyday carry. The size is just right, easy to keep in the truck or bugout bag, and the belt holster pouch is a big plus — sturdy, secure, and quick to access. The gel format feels safer and more controlled than spray, and the overall design is professional and practical. Excellent EDC option and well worth having on hand.

Any Volunteers To Let Me Spray This Stuff in Your Eyes? UPDATE: I Got My Volunteer!
Not really sure how to give this a review because I haven't had to use it yet. I've shot a few test shots in the backyard and it seems to do what it's supposed to, but I would need someone willing to let me spray it in their eyes before I know if it works or not. Someone or something like a dog or a lion or a bear. I guess the idea behind this stuff is that you hope you never have to use it so you may never know if it works or not. However, if I'm judging on how safe it makes me feel, I'm giving it 5 stars just for that. November 11, 2018 - UPDATE: Hey, as luck would have it, somebody DID volunteer to let me spray this stuff in their eyes and guess what.. It REALLY WORKS! I don't just mean it works. I mean it REALLY WORKS!! I'm more confident than ever now with this on my belt because I can now be absolutely certain that if anyone or anything attempts to approach me with any intention of doing harm, they are going DOWN! I mean they are going down FAST! Once even a small amount of this is sprayed in the eyes or anywhere around the facial or head and neck area of a charging bear or an enthusiastic mugger, that person or animal will immediately (right away with no delay) experience trouble breathing, a painful sensation on the skin and blurry vision and a need to get down on the ground to recuperate and that, as my volunteer discovered, is not a quick process at all. I'm a pretty solid guy at 6' 185 pounds and I've worked out all my life. So I've never really had somebody feel brave enough to mug me as I'm walking outside late at night or anything like that, but hey, there's always somebody out there willing to try so I think it's a good idea to be ready if it ever did happen. After my volunteer let me spray this in his face, I knew right away that even if he had a gun or a knife and was bigger than me, if I sprayed him in the face with this stuff, I could sit with him as he was gasping for air on the ground and talk to him about why it's not a good idea to try and mug or rob somebody he doesn't know. Then I could remove the weapon from his trembling hand and tell him I would hold on to it for him until the police got there. If you're wondering who my volunteer was, it was me. An unwitting volunteer but a volunteer nevertheless. About a month ago, I happened to have a can of this on me when I was leaving a friend's house after a late dinner and visit and I had quite a distance to walk because of limited parking near their house. It was a beautiful night in Woodland Hills, CA and got to thinking how I remembered the user guide for this stuff said I should pop off a shot every once and awhile to assure that it works properly and hasn't gotten old and possibly dried out etc. So I decided it was the perfect time and place to test my formidable protective weapon. There was no one around for an entire street block and it was 2 a.m. in the morning so nobody was likely to step out from behind a bush and catch the spray in their face because I would feel absolutely horrible and like a total idiot if that did happen. It was pretty clear I was ok to fire away so I aimed straight in front of me at a wall near a structured driveway and gave it a good solid push down on the trigger button keeping my eyes on the wall to make sure I knew how to aim it properly. I swear the night air was still. Not a breeze, not a sound or hint of wind, but apparently my senses were not very sharp that night because as I was watching the wall that I shot at, I began to feel restricted breathing and a pain in my arm that was extended out holding the spray can. I knew immediately that whatever night breeze there was had carried the smallest amount of that spray BACK AT ME. So I immediately turned and RAN as fast as I could in the opposite direction to minimize the effects of the blowback. I had to stop and catch my breath and slow my breathing, but that was not easy and my arm and a small part of my face was burning and my eyes became blurry and it took sometime to regain total control using complete concentration and meditation and remaining very still until I was able to continue walking in the direction of my car. So I was my volunteer and I only got a tiny amount that was a fine mist blowing back in my direction carried by a deceptive night time breeze when I sprayed the wall in front of me. I'm pretty quick, so I figured out what was happening fast and I turned right away and ran in the opposite direction of the incoming blowback. Even still, I was in no condition to fight with anyone or defend myself if I were in a real situation and needed to do so. So take what happened to me and multiply that by a factor of at least 10 or 20x. Good stuff.

Reliable Protection When It Counts
Reliable Protection When It Counts This SABRE Tactical Pepper Gel feels like a professional-grade tool made accessible for everyday use. The canister is well-sized — larger than a keychain model but still compact enough for daily carry. The flip-top design is intuitive and easy to deploy under stress, and the gel stream provides a precise, forceful shot without misting back in your face, even in windy conditions. I like that SABRE includes a holster, though I’d call it utilitarian at best; it works, but it’s not as rugged or ergonomic as the canister itself. Out in the field, this pepper gel performs. I tested it outdoors at a safe distance and was impressed by the range and accuracy — it travels in a tight stream and hits the target instantly. Based on verified user experiences, it has proven effective in real encounters, even against aggressive dogs. It’s also nice that SABRE offers online training videos to practice safe handling and technique — a smart touch for anyone serious about self-defense. A few things to note: the holster flap slows access slightly compared to an open-top belt clip, and once you’ve used a few short bursts, the canister feels noticeably lighter. Keep an eye on expiration dates and replace after a few years. Bottom line: a dependable, police-strength pepper gel that delivers when needed — highly effective, well-made, and worth keeping on your belt, in your bag, or car for everyday protection.

I used my Sabre spray.
Hello Amazon! I'm a security guard and I work a patrol shift for different locations. Well, one of my locations are a bit more crazy than the others. Very recently, I ended up having to use my Sabre Red Maximum Strength (I PURCHASED 2 WEEKS AGO) on a man. He was about arms and a half distance away. The spray was very controlled, and it was bright orange in color. Upon the first stream, the man did NOT back away from me and continued a bit forward. I sprayed once more and the man stopped advancing towards me. He stood there, seemingly unphased. He talked crap saying the spray did nothing. A few seconds later, he had to be walked into the passenger side of his ride. As they drove away, I could see him blinking excessively, rubbing his eyes and now silent. Now, there are a few things I want to emphasize. There was a delay to the spray taking effect. This is especially true because he was very likely drunk. PLEASE KEEP THAT IN MIND. In my instance, it was roughly 7 seconds before I could confidently say the suspect was deterred from further aggression. Secondly, the holster is good quality. My issue with the holster is it has a velcro flap. That's fine, but when you have a flip-top mechanism, it can cause for some stumbling with the top, making you less able to activate quickly and effectively. In a holster like that, I don't see the need for a flip-top. Third, my conclusion is this will absolutely work and I can without a doubt tell you that the suspect had a terrible night( part of me wanted him to stay longer just to see it's effects). My only complaint is I became very uncomfortable when the suspect stared right back at me with bright orange pepper sauce on his face and no immediate reaction. For a moment I was convinced things were going to get ugly. The holster is good, but you may be deterred from using it. You may also want to run drills, quickly pulling out your equipment and in ready position to accommodate its seemingly awkwardness. For $16 USD(-15% off base price), I do think its a good price, but my opinion changes a bit at full price ($20USD). 4 Stars because the flip-top safety does not feel good, I stumbled with it in my hand and it costed me precious time in which I could have seriously been hurt. Otherwise, thank you Sabre for protecting me and our Law Enforcement. We owe it to you. Absolutely buy their products.

Worth evegy penny!
I am very happy I purchased this Sabre pepper gel spray and with a holder! My first one dropped off my pants and I couldn't find it when I back tracked. It isca very cheap clip without the holder that my belt goes through. I haven't needed to use it yet, but I am happy I purchase a few of these canisters.

I actually had to use this over the weekend on a LARGE Malinois / Shepherd
I have very irresponsible neighbors, and often find their loose and large dogs roaming around the neighborhood. This weekend, I was on my run, and luckily, I had this pepper spray with me -- I sometimes forget to bring pepper spray, but I'm glad I didn't yesterday. I was running down the street when all of a sudden, I hear this vicious, aggressive barking at my direction. I look across the street and see two LARGE dogs sitting at the corner. One was a HUGE rottweiler, and the other a big Malinois / Shepherd mix. My heart sank, as this is the fourth time I've had to deal with this sort of thing on a run. Usually, I can deal with one large dog fine, but two is going to get you killed. Especially when both are large attack dogs. The large Malinois (easily 70 to 80 lbs) just started running for me at full speed. I instinctively went around a car near me, and within a couple of few seconds, the dog was already rounding the front of the car to get me. It was running full bore, barking crazy, and ready to maul. I had this pepper spray out and ready as it rounded the corner, and I unleashed it on its face. I wasn't sure what to expect, since I never tested this spray before. I usually use the canisters of bear spray, and that unleashes a large, forceful cloud of spray. But, I've never tested this out before. It comes out in a forceful stream of liquid gel. I was pretty surprised by how robust the stream was. From about 5 ft away, I was able to spray the dog easily in the face, and it stopped dead in its tracks as I kept the stream going at its face. It did a 180 within a second, and bolted around the car back to the corner. I promptly jogged away, looking behind me to make sure it wasn't trying for a second attack, and also to see if the rottweiler would join the fray. Luckily, the rott just sat at the corner, and didn't do anything. The malinois stood in the middle of the street, looking confused, and maybe even stunned. I was able to escape a vicious mauling, intact. I really wish I had carried this with me several months ago when I encountered two other large, loose dogs. I ended up getting severely injured in that encounter, and I have a pending lawsuit against the owner. Pepper spray is only good when you carry it all the time, and I can attest to this one. It works, it's effective (even after 2.5 years from purchase date), and easy to carry. I'm going to buy more. The only thing I will add is that after a short 2 to 3 seconds of use, the canister feels much lighter. I should probably throw this one out.

Just as advertised
Came on time and as advertised. Works well and keeps me from using my sidearm on Antifa.

Good quality product
I work in medium risk armed security. Sometimes there is no need to draw a firearm. I actually had to deploy this pepper gel and it worked as I hoped it would. It gave the few precious seconds I needed to regain control of the situation. I will continue to purchase Saber as I need to replace them for myself and my other officers

Super Pfefferspray

Klare Kaufempfehlung

Also.....

Thank you! I am feeling a little bit safer than before.
Easy to use, range 1.5-2 meters, enough to repel any ''dog' attack. I am feeling safer on the street now with my spray in the pocket. I hope I will not have the opportunity to use it as last resort safe defense against dogs and other attacking animals.
