Verbatim 25GB 6X Blu-ray Single-Layer Recordable Disc BD-R LTH Low to High, 20 Disc Spindle 97344

I have tested this with ASUS and LG burners. So far these are the only ones that work great in both drives and have a very low rate of bad disc.I'm a full time professional photographer and often one shoot will be between 50gb and 150gb of data. Well I back up to hard drive and also to blu-ray disc. I tested a few different brands and was hoping to find something that was more archive stable but so far these are the best I have foundI would recommend these to anyone to use as back-up. They work good and have few errors or bad disc.* I'm using a Mac ( 10.7 / 10.8 ) and Toast to burn the disc. I have bought hunderns of these Verbatim LTH Blu-Ray Discs.The ProsHard Coat: Not sure if it helps or not, but I think it does. I burn these, put them right in to a dvd holding system but over years you never know. I recently started upgrading some of my larger old dvds to blu-ray ( I have over 5,000 dvd ). Well the read errors from the dvds are mostly from finger prints and dust / dirt marks. Maybe the hard coat will helpThe LTH ( low to high): Isn't really what I wanted, but for some reason these seem to work well in the two burner I have bought and used. Also they seem to be read in almost any blu-ray reader I have sent to people. For me, I would rather have hassle free than almost anything else. I spend enough time fighting other issues, I should have any problems with my media.Fair Price: These aren't the cheapest and they not the most expensive, they are in the middle. So far my bad disc rate is just over .8% ( i have lost 1 blu-ray out of 120 disc burned on the ASUS). For the LG burner the number is a bit higher ( around 1% to 2%), but still under 2% - generally one disc for ever couple of 20 packs.Cons:I hate 20 packs. I wish I could buy 50 or 100 packs. There are 40 packs of these, but they always seem to be out of stock.I would rather have a blank top, so I can write on the top. There is room to write, but I just wish there was more room ( they could remove there big logo on the top of the disc)

We are new at burning Blu-ray discs. We are converting AVCHD Family trips shot with a Canon HD Videocam and we are using Corel VideoStudio Pro. Using a Pioneer BDR-206 burner. These recordable blamks came highly rated in a couple of reviews. I am VERY happy with the results. Not one failure.It's not the cost of the blank disc -- it is the wasted time if your burn project fails. With any video editing software, burning Blu-rays takes so long you do not want to waste your time and your PC's cycles with anything less than the best...BD-RE-s are a nice idea to test your projects and we use them for small stuff but they are SLOWWWWW burners.Even creating a one hour Blu-ray Video disc can take quite while for Software to format, render and finally burn. We prefer burning at 6X rather than 2X even if we are in Test Mode to see what the project looks like. This is our set-up; Pioneer Blue-Ray Disc/DVD/CD Writer BDR-206DBK (Black)Corel VideoStudio Pro X4Canon VIXIA HG21 AVCHD 120 GB HDD Camcorder with 12x Optical Zoom Time is valuable. For us the cost of media is peanuts when you consider how much time you will put into creating a Video. Just makes sure your Blu-ray burner supports LTH --we hear that most new ones do. We love these Verbatim's and we are ordering more today.

2 packs and not a one bad burn. They (definitely/as one would expect) do not hold 25 Performing jobs, more like 23 Performing jobs, but still enough to get quite a bit of information on a disc. Since I switched to the Word for word I have had no problems burning discs unlike all the other brands I tried (with the exception of the Amazon Basics discs, but they do not make the double layer ones in them anymore). Do yourself a favor, pay a couple cents more and get these discs because it will be cheaper in the end after you have thrown out half the pack of another cheaper brand.Comment|Was tThe tools came exactly how I imagined it would be. They were very useful in many ways such as; prying, unscrewing, and (definitely/as one would expect) rescrewing.So if your looking for a good or a quality repair and do it yourself (DIY) repair tools than this is for you.

Sto iniziando ora a scrivere i dati nei dischi e per ora ne ho masterizzato 1 senza errori, però la velocità massima di scrittura non è il 6x come viene dichiarato, ma è 4x. Io comunque per non rischiare li sto scrivendo a 2x che è la velocità minima. Quindi se dovessi guardare prestazioni e prezzo non so che dire, perché mi sono trovato bene solo con la marca verbatim. Il mio masterizzatore è un samsung se506cb, i driver sono già aggiornati, ed è compatibile per questo tipo di dischi, e specifica che scrive fino a 6x. La verbatim dopo 1 settimana mi risponde, che questo è un genere di disco non distribuito in Italia, ma solo in America, e quindi non mi può assicurare l'affidabilità. Per ora sembrano funzionare, ma il costo per un finto 6x è alto rispetto ad altri fornitori fuori da amazon. Però amazon è una garanzia. Quindi valutate voi. Io non vi consiglio di scrivere a 4x perché risulta la massima velocità, ed c'è più rischio di errori. Secondo disco e in fase di scrittura, poi ha il controllo da superare, e ci vuole circa 1ora e mezza.

Only 8 of the 40 worked. My Asus Bluray had a heck of a time just reading and detecting it. I had the latest firmware so I was a bit mistified. So I went to my local computer store and bought another Verbatim bluray 10 pack which did not have the LTH technology, and then it worked perfectly and flawlessly. I do not recommend the LTH, bluray dics, the cheaper manufacturing process is an obvious issue. Verbatim please keep selling the non LTH Discs. I really would like to return it.

He usado ya varios discos y todos han sido exitosos. Mucho se dice sobre la tinta que utilizan en la capa grabadora pero sabiendolos cuidar y guardar adecuadamente tendrán muchos años de durabilidad. Son más económicos que los normales debido al proceso de manufactura, que es el mismo que usan cualquier cd o dvd. Preferiría que fueran blancos pero con capa lisa y no rugosa pero es un detalle mínimo y son así para poder imprimir sobre ellos. Ninguna queja al respecto y el envío de amazon fue muy bueno, bien empaquetado y sin incovenientes.

Ottimo prodotto, finora ne ho utilizzato una decina e tutti andati a buon fine. Arrivati in anticipo, confezione integra. Sicuramente da ricomprare

Yièllo, Si tu veux acheter ce produit il faut d'abord rechercher: "BD-R LTH type 1004MOS.pdf" dans google et vérifier la compatibilité de ton brûleur de BR de ton ordi, s'il n'est pas inscrit oublie ça. Mais s'il inscrit il faut en plus vérifié le modèle de ton lecteur BR de salon, sinon pas de ti-film.HI, if you want to buy this kind of LTH BR disk, google research: "BD-R LTH type 1004MOS.pdf" and you'll know if you BD burner and your personnal BR reader machine like Sony, Toshiba, Sharp etc can read BR LTH disk. Verbatim had replace mine because I don't if these LTH disk will fit at home.
