Nice stapler
Works very well for upholstery. The depth of the staple is controlled by the pressure on the compressor's regulator. There are no adjustments on the stapler. I saw the same stapler in my local big box hardware store for 35% more money. The on;y con would be that there is no clearly defined (or easily defined) location where the staple will be set. Smaller tipped units are easier to see where the staple will end up. This one take a bit of getting used too, but for my needs that really isn't too much of an issue.

This is a great stapler for the price
This is a great stapler for the price. I used it for installing a replacement canvas in my old VW pop top camper. It was easy to use, and had plenty of power to push 1/2 T50 staples through the tack strip and canvas into my hardwood oak pop top frame. I had no issues with jams or misfires. I'd gladly buy again. The brad nailer feature will be of nice use in future projects.

The best on the market.
This stapler works great. Doesn't jam and shoots at a great pace. Convenient and easy to use safety trigger because the little brads are the most dangerous and hard to remove if they go under the skin

Good stapler for the money
I've had this stapler for a bit more than a year now, put a half dozen or so boxes of staples though it, and it's still working well. It's never jammed, except when shooting through really tough materials like masonite, and then it's been quick and easy to clear the jams. I swapped the air fitting that came with it for one with a swivel, which makes it a bit easier to use at odd angles. My only reservation about this stapler is that the trigger and some of the plastic parts on the body feel a bit flimsy. I mostly use mine in the shop, but if I looking for one to get used at jobsites I might look for something sturdier.

nice device, does not jam over much
nice to use compared to hand ones, getting older and this is nice that you do not need any hand strength to use

I love having a pneumatic stapler
This was an excellent purchase. I got it for a project that involved a lot of stapling because my small, weak little old lady hands can't handle the manual stapler my big, strong husband uses. But now that we have it, he finds it useful, too. It makes stapling so easy. I haven't had a lot of experience with different pneumatic staplers, so I don't know what could be better. But for my money, it doesn't need to be. It is well made, well designed, easy to use, reliable and nice-looking.

Broken out of box - internals are cheap plastic garbage
Did not function out of box (heard air flow when the trigger was depressed, but piston/driver did not cycle)- disassembled to troubleshoot and found that the inlet nipple for the single-acting pneumatic cylinder was snapped off. The entire body of the cylinder is plastic, and the inlet nipple/hose barb is part of the molding/casting. There *might* be a 16th inch of plastic around the diameter where they join. I've got no idea who though that was enough material for a cyclically pressurized part, but they're out of their mind.Returns are a hassle for me, and an entire replacement cylinder (part no. 9R205236) only runs about $10, so I ordered a replacement. I'll add some reinforcement & install it with kid gloves, and see how that treats me. It's a shame, because the tool is lightweight and compact, and I bet it would be handy if it works, which is why I'm trying to save it, rather than throwing in the towel. I'll eliminate the stupid safety on it too, which I can already tell would be a sore thumb.TL;DR avoid this one unless you want a project.

Excellent stapler. Worth the minor expense to save the wrist from using a conventional stapler. Put up poly in 2 houses with no problems to report. All gummed up with acoustical caulking and still firing fine. Bought a second as a gift.

Artist's Stapler
A professional artist always has to use the very best art materials because, to do otherwise, might compromise the archival integrity of a product that has the potential to demand large sums of money in an exclusive gallery. Even before applying the first brush-stroke, I use stainless steel staples to stretch my polyester canvas on gallery stretcher bars. I've always been somewhat reluctant to use a pneumatic stapler because I thought the pressure might damage the canvas. To prevent the likelihood of that happening, I came up with a very simple solution. I used my new Bostitch Pneumatic Stapler (model BTFP71875) with some Arrow T-50, 3/8 inch stainless steel staples on a swatch of canvas, with the compressor's pressure set at just under 90 PSI, to see if the pressure was excessive. The staples went in perfectly! I am very impressed that the stapler does not use oil because I do not want any oil ending up on my canvas. It's as if the stapler was designed with the “artist” in mind. I was watching a tutorial, on YouTube, in which canvas was stapled on gallery stretchers using a $250 pneumatic stapler. I am quite certain that the Bostitch stapler is every bit as good. I did replace the NPT 1/4 inch quick connector with a swivel version of it, even though such a modification isn't absolutely necessary. I used Teflon pipe joint tape on the threads of the swivel NPT connector and carefully threaded the connector by hand before tightening it with a wrench to ensure the threads would not be damaged. Ironically, the easel I use for my canvas is constructed using four sets of Stanley clamps on a pair of eight-foot vertical “two-by-fours”. Because the Stanley and Bostitch brand are part of the same company, you could say this company's products have become an indispensable part of my creative process.
