I`ve used mine for about a year and it works great
The media could not be loaded. Using it at the lowest speed for over 30 minutes will make your polisher heat up, if you turn the speed a couple notches it will cool again. I use a Makita 927 CX and it works great. This machine at this price point is very good. You just need to know what you`re doing. I have restored dozens and polished hundreds of marble, granite, and quartz counters with this one alone, ant it works excellent after my first year.

This item dies not work as described.
Absolute waist of a product.. a failure of a design. I lost 2 angle grinders to this machine!.. Not enough power ,literally up in smoke! Both grinders were BRAND NEW!!!!!! The first grinder i attached... not even 2 minutes into the concrete buffing ..SMOKE! The second grinder was attached... this time i suspended this buffing machine with angle grinder attached. I thought maybw with less resistance it would be ok?..... yep!... smoked it as well! At this price?.. $660! Are you kidding me!?I wonder if the seller covers the cost of both smoked angle grinders????Fact is! An angle grinder is way too under powered for this type of machine!Good Luck!

First use and the main plate is badly off balance!
The media could not be loaded. I purchased this in the first week of June and upon arrival I was excited. I didn’t have my variable speed polisher in yet (Makita). Once I got it in and got some time this morning I started installing it to find that the main plate the 3 years sit on is off balance. I can exchange or send back because I’m out of time being it’s been more than a month.

Works for short period of time.
We fabricate a lot of stone…. This product looks good on paper but is a waste of time and money.Large grinder needed, makes a ton of noise and does not last for more than a few hours of total use. Trash product, wasted money, lesson learned DO NOT PURCHASE!!!

works great
I do Concrete counters and this works great to make a nice even surface when finishing the tops. It won't get in tight to the corners or back edges and a single disk tool will still be needed but gets 80% of the job done with great dust containment when using with a vacuum.

Almost a good idea
Right out of the box this was making funny sounds as it spun. I powered it with a dealt 13am variable speed polisher. It sounded like the gears were tight then loose. I did a test spot from 50 to 1500 grit. Seemed like it was going to be okay. I got a couple hours out of it with 100 grit at low rpm before it started slipping. I can only assume that the gears were poorly made. The area I was able to polish looked great.

Planetary Gears!
For the price this works great! Planetary gears. Must use a large variable speed grinder polisher.

Will not work with 4 1/2 angle grinders
After trying a few 4 1/2" angle grinders including the 13 amp Bosch angle grinder with no success I tried a Dewalt 6000 RPM 7"-9" angle grinder and the polisher came to life! The loaded RPM drops the RPM down quite a bit as the diamond discs are rated at 4500 RPM, I used Stadea part #FPPW04STDS200G1P to clean and polish the top layer of my indoor concrete before staining, with this tool I did not use any chemicals, just scraping and polishing to remove the glues, paints, etc. from the floor. I highly recommend this tool as I tried to rent a polisher and the type of grit is limited and you would have to purchase you own diamond tips which exceed the cost of this tool as the 4" diamond pads are only $15 ea. for this polisher.
