these connectors are exactly what I was looking for, there easy to wire up the gauge of wire is correct size/ thickness, most of the reviews are filled with complaints of how the clips break, THEIR LYING I've bent these clips all the way back to where it was touching the end of the connector. so it goes to show that these nilight connectors are well worth it. and are good for marine applications.

Very nice connectors

These are well made, great quality. Wire thickness is great and the connectors are waterproof. I bought these for quick disconnects for side marker lights on my Jeep. I've also used them on my trailer for wiring new lights. Overall I'm very pleased with these, would definitely buy again.

I was looking for something to disconnect lighting circuits easily on a motorcycle. These will work fine for low amperage 12v applications. Having installed turn signals into the side of my top case ( = MUCH better visibility to cars) I decided I want to be able to easily remove the top case, so these will be wired into the bike. Then a second set of turn signals can be plugged in... or perhaps use a tail light with turn signals (but ?? visibility). Either way, these plugs will work well.

I was building a (12v) power outlet system for my truck bed and wanted a way to separate the front and back plugs on the wires. The SAE (flat 2-wire) style isn't sealed and this is. Between the walls of my truck bed it seems like a minor requirement, but still wanted to 'prevent' corrosion. I also wanted to avoid using prewired versions like this to avoid extra butt-splices in my wires. The package has some pretty good pictures guiding assembly and the only problem I had was a faulty crimp (and subsequent trouble removing the contacts from the shell). Mostly this due to poor match between my crimper and these terminals. Eventually got it to work and was able to install my new plugs. If I ever need to remove them this plug should make that a little easier. I cheated and poked the wire seals in after rather than crimping them in with the insulation prongs as recommended (as they may have been better able to grip the wires this way and there is plenty of depth in the shell for this. (thread them over the wires first before crimp) Years ago it was 3M IDC terminals or cut and tape (or use 1/4" "faston" terminals). Much happy that these are now available.

Works great to easily break connections

Needed to replace 2, 2 wire connectors for heated seats in my rzr that were not waterproof. These work great, water tight, and replace 2 connectors so it's easier to remove /install seat.
