Q: Is it a hair mask, or conditioner /leave in conditioner?

I really don't understand all the differences. I've use conditioners for decades. This is a lot better than mayonnaise! I wash my hair, rinse it well and then put this on my damp hair. I wrap the warm towel that I had wrapped around my head after shampoo around my head/hair again. Directions say 3-4 minutes but I had a cup of tea so 10 minutes? Then went into the shower and rinsed it out. I'm 71 now. People tell me I have lovely hair and I do. I use John Frida products. They are the best I have found for my straight fine-textured hair. I highly recommend this product.
