This belt is not the correct replacement for 954-04249A
This belt is 5/8 X 71. The correct belt for a Craftsman t1000 is 7/16 X 71-1/8. You stated that this belt was a replacement for 954-04249A, but it is not. The size different seems trivial, but it resulted in your belt getting chewed up, and the loss of speeds 5-7 because it was too big. I asked for a refund but have not heard back.
