I use this at least twice a day to core and slice Honeycrisp apples. I have yet to meet an apple that doesn't fit. I really like that this corer has a little "door" to push the apple through the blades. No more poking the segments out. It's also pretty easy to clean with a brush and some soapy water.

This is a very sturdy, sharp slicer. Slices large, crisp apples and the cover that pushes the slices out works beautifully. Best apple slicer I have had.

Do yourself a favor and only buy apple slicers with this little gizzmoe on the bottom. It not only protects the sharp edges from getting dull from banging around in the drawer, it will also save you from the mishap of trying to get that stubborn core out with your bare hands and invariably cutting your fingers or knuckles. It's the little things, you know?

This is the only way to go, slices, cores AND pops them all out for easy removal. We also have a 12 slicer and this 8 slicer goes through the apple much easier. This wedge and pop Apple and pear slicer is the only way to go for us, plus it's very well built. We highly recommend this product.

The slicer works great on small and medium size apples. However, larger apples (ex. Honeycrisp) will not fit inside the tool.

Got this from Hungry Girl she had it listed on one of her e-mails and I found it to be very cute. When I received it I didn't realize just how adorable it is. It is small enough to leave on your counter which is where I keep it and it has 3 different cutter blades a slicer, a half cutter and one that makes 6 quarters plus a holder. I am not disappointed in this product I make hard boiled eggs a lot, so I use it quite often. Oh! the best part is won't slide on counter, has a rubber bottom

Best gadget ever if you are eating/using apples regularly. I am vegan (mainly fruitarian) so I use it at least twice a day. Apart from apples it works well with medium potatoes, medium turnips, kohlrabi, swede, onions .... Saves time, you don’t have to use your strength, just your body weight. Well made

Much better than the old one which left the peel at the bottom of the apple still attached. This one completely segments the apple. I also use it with medium sized potatoes to make oven chips... works great

Recommended. Works very well, especially because of the bottom piece which eases the removal of the slices. Don't buy the apple slicers which don't have the bottom piece.

This is a little beauty, does what it says, i love it.
