Clarks Men's Merrimack Sandal

I have been debating about buying this sandal for quite some time now, since it was on sale I bought it. As usual Clarks has always made a very comfortable shoe and sandal. however, in my opinion they went and put the Strap for tightening the sandal on the WRONG SIDE. This makes the strap for tightening on the outside of the Sandal unlike their Hudson where the Strap is on the inside of the sandal. Although, it is livable, but inconvenient for anyone reaching to outer side of the sandalWill I return them? Hell no they are just too comfortable as they make the best Sandal I have ever worn in the past 55 years.

This isn't my first pair of merrimacks - and while I still like the way look and fit (though I suggest buying 1 size smaller than you usually wear), they no longer have rubber soles, but plastic. And instead of lasting more than one summer before the cloth under the foot starts to fray, they started to wear out in ~ 2 months of similar wear. They are just not made to the same standards anymore.

I ordered these in my regular size 12, and that turned out to be a full one to 1 1/2 sizes too large. I immediately reordered in a size eleven and they fit perfect. The construction and quality of workmanship is excellent. I have been wearing them for the last few days and the comfort and support is outstanding for this type of footwear. The are cool and comfortable even in our 117º Arizona heat.Did I mention they look really good?Thank you Amazon for your always outstanding service!

I have had a pair of these for several years, and they work well for all occasions. They are very comfortable and very durable, having walked for miles and gotten soaked many times. Even though the first pair are still in great shape, I didn't want to risk the possibility of their being discontinued. The new second pair are as well-constructed and comfortable as the first pair. When you need a sandal that gives better support and a more formal look than flip-flops or hiking sandals, the Merrimacks are a great option.

This product is the way it was advertised, but the size is a little bigger than expected, I use 9.5 size and I ordered size 9 and still fits bigger on my feet. The quality is good, but they should advertise that the sandal is a little larger.

Look good, feel great and fit just reght, however after just one use I see signs of tear on the edge of the sole. I don't want to return it but I am beginning to feel that it will not last very long. Considering the price I think it should be much stronger. Time will tell.

My husband refuses to wear flip flops and I was determined to get him in sandals. In introduced him to Merrimack's in hopes I could sway him away from gym shoes and was successful! He LOVES these, he says they are super comfortable and his new favorite summer shoes. Hooray!

This is the 3rd pair of these shoes that we have purchased for my husband. Due to a medical condition, he is not able to wear closed-toe shoes and these have been great for him; good arch support and great support otherwise for a sandal. He wears these sandals year-round and I'm sure we will be purchasing more of these shoes so I hope they do not discontinue this style.
