Quality timepiece
The Precisionist is a very good looking watch with a quality feel and look about it. The watch is large but fits the wrist nicely. It is smart enough to wear as a dress watch yet casual enough for daily wear. So far (one month) it is keeping very accurate time. I'm impressed with the Bulova's quality- it has a look and feel of a high end watch. This has quickly become my favourite in my watch collection. Having no luminous dial does not worry me but may worry others. The workings of the chronograph may be complicated to some but it's not that difficult to operate. Overall this is a quality watch. Delivery by Amazon was the best I have had from the USA. Price was good even with the flagging Australian dollar.

Beautiful TIme Piece
I am always weary of purchasing a watch without being able to wear it and see how it fits (weight, bulkiness, etc.), but I am so pleased to say that this watch both fits wonderfully, and is just the right size. Excellent time piece that manages a very accurate time and easy chronograph functions make this piece super easy to master. Overall I am extremely pleased with the value-quality of the Bulova Precisionist Chronograph watch.

Great looking watch, but not worth the money
I get compliments on this watch all the time, however, Bulova's quality and repair shop is horrible. I bought this watch in 2014 from Amazon and after wearing the watch for 1 year and using the stopwatch feature of the Chronograph, one of the hands wouldn't return to zero. I paid to ship it to Bulova's repair shop in NY and 3 months later I get my watch back with a bill for the return shipping. On top of that the first time I used the stopwatch, it wouldn't set back to zero!!

Nice watch, I like the numerals but a darker color would be easier to see. AR coating of the glass would be an improvement.Update: Battery (Hitachi Maxell Lithium 90mAh, CR2016) lasted 3 years. OCV 2.89V discharged vs. 3.25V new.It was difficult to replace. Amazing watch.
It is a well made watch. It's amazing the way that the tiny hands for 1/10th and 1/100th of a second flies when you start the chronograph. The feature I like best is the two modes that the hand for the seconds moves (in the hour mode it moves as a self-wind automatic watch and in chronograph mode it moves as an old fashioned counterweight clock).Another good feature is it has 1/1000th of a second, but obviously it is impossible to take a mesure with that kind of precision just using your eyes and finger.Cons I think the watch has:- It doesn't has any glow in the dark or tritium so you won't be able to read the hour in the dark.- The chronograph hands (minutes and hours) are directly engaged so it becomes very difficult to read it when the hands are between two marks (also dial for hours and minutes are too small).- Date background color is not exactly the same as the dial one.- When chronograph button is pressed the hand takes too long to get in position (a complete spin takes 10 sec)In summary is a very good watch with a balance between sport and elegance but there are a couple of thing to improve a little.

Good watch, some excellent features, but not great. Don't spend more than $500 on this watch.
I like this watch a lot, but with multiple exceptions. What I like the most about this watch is the quality of the bands, they're fantastic, and perfect for large wrist. The automatic movement is very nice as well, and is the face of the watch. Now here are my personal exceptions for what I feel makes the watch a 3/5 stars... There are no lumen markers, so I can't ever see what time it is at night. The case housing (body) feels too light. The crystal distorts the display (face) when viewed at even a slight angle - this is a personal peeve, because it makes it difficult to find the time by looking down.

Love it!
What a great watch. The Chronograph is awesome, the hack on the second hand is amazing! The price on the one I bought was unbelievable. Less than $225. This watch is elegant and a real head turner. Watch geeks like me will love the chronograph and impressionist movement. The case seemed a little big to me at 47 mm but it wears like a 45. Great watch for the money. I will buy another impressionist soon.

I love this watch
WOW, I love this watch. It is stunning and for the 2 weeks I have had it I have had numerous positive comments from people. Very accurate timing and just overall beautiful. The face is large and easy to read. There is no illuminated hands or numbers so can't see in dark at all but I knew that when I ordered it. The watch band isn't that great, but I can easily replace that with a better quality leather band if I wanted to.

Awesome Watch!
One of my favorite watches in my collection! 46mm face and good weight. I did however change the black leather band to a brown clasp band because I felt it suited the watch better especially with all of the rose gold accents. Its even got a chrono to the 1000th of a second....not sure when I would ever need that type of accuracy but whatever.
