Very poor quality and potentially unsafe
I purchased these struts for my teenage son's car (2010 Mazda 3). I purchased them as they appeared to be a good value over what I was being quoted at the chain parts stores. I had some initial issues while installing them, especially getting them to seat into the steering knuckle. After several attempts and lots of persuasion I was able to get them installed. After reinstalling the calipers and brakes and getting ready to road test the vehicle, that is where things went alarmingly wrong. I attempted to torque the top mounting bolts according the "factory manual" specs, which is 20 pounds. Shockingly, two of the mounting bolts literally sheered off one of the struts, before I even reached the recommended 20 pounds! My question back to the seller and manufacturer is what would have happened if someone was driving the car while the bolts sheered off?!?Needless to say, I replaced the struts with a name brand and I can honestly say they were much easier to install and the mounting bolts were literally larger and much heavier than the ones on these struts. I have learned my lesson and will no longer buy no-name suspension parts online.I would encourage both Amazon and the seller to question the quality of this part and its potential to do some serious harm.

Good for the money.
Easy enough to install if you sand away the paint where the strut meets the knuckle and use lubricant.

Don't last
We ordered these in july, had them installed in august. Beginning of December they both have to be replaced again. I tried contacting the seller through Amazon and I never got a response. I now have to buy them again and pay for the same repair less than 6 months later.
