While these are too small by themselves for my 4" gutters' downspouts, they work well with my stainless steel drain guards. While the stainless steel guards are great, they are round and do not completely fill a downspouts' square drain hole. Adding these flexible plastic guards beside the stainless steel ones fills up the holes.

Little jerks have been using the exit point of our gutters as a party pad. Not anymore! These do stick out a little further than I'd like and measurements on listing made it sound like they'd fit better. Now my irritating neighbor can enjoy them since this gutter is CLOSED!

One of the cheaper alternatives but also one of the more effective ones. The wider gaps allow the smaller debris to flow through without clogging it up. They simply push in and are unsecured by any means. Even so mine have remained in place.

Unfortunately, the well-constructed downspout protectors wouldn't seat properly to remain within the rectangular downspout holes in the gutters.

Does not fit 2 inch round hole. It’s oval shape.
