Finally a converter that works as advertised
We went through 3 different types of chargers and adapters trying to get our new Jeep 4xe to charge at a reasonable speed, IE Level 2 24 amp. We currently have a 10-30/30 amp tesla charger for our Model 3 SR+. Our goal was to use the Tesla charger but none of the other adapters we tried worked. They would just give some error and never start charging. I think it was due to the amperage being over the recommended 80% of the circuit. IE, more than 24 amps. Then we tried 2 different direct J1772 chargers. Those didn't work either because you couldn't set the amperage. Even the 24amp J1772 we tried didn't work. It didn't trip the breaker it just wouldn't charge. Finally decided to give this adapter a shot and it works flawlessly. I even tried it on a Tesla destination charger up in the mountains this weekend. Charged the 4xe with no problems!Highly recommend.

It works!
This adapter works perfectly on my wife’s i3. I first tried another product that wasn’t able to do that. This adapter is no muss, no fuss. A great way to double the use of my at home Tesla charger.

Works great
I have a Tesla Model 3 and just bought a 2019 Volt. When I bought the Tesla, I bought another mobile charger kit to keep in the car to use just in case I need one while away from home and use the one pictured that came with the car for charging. When I got the Volt, I wanted to use the Tesla charger for either car and this adapter works great. I also bought a J1772 wall mount that I mounted next to the Tesla charge cable mount. Either I pull the charge cable out of the Tesla mount and plug it in to the Tesla, or I plug it in to the adapter then the Volt. It's a fantastic solution and it's working great for the Volt. Now I can put the Volts 110v charger back in the car to use if needed while away from home as well.

Be sure this is the adapter you want, Tesla Charger to J1772, not the reverse

Excellent adaptor!
I’ve used this twice and works like a champ. Mostly at hotels since it’s level 2 charging. I’ve seen other EVs with them as well. Quality built and happy I spent the money. It’s not cheap but worth it in my opinion.

Customer service and functionality both lacking
Does not work with 2011-2012 Nissan LEAFs. Customer service is very much sub par.

DId not work
I have a 2015 Nissan Leaf. When I plug into the Tesla Wall Charger the light on the front turns red and my car does not charge.

Charges XC90 T8
My wife wasn't willing to go full electric, but I was able to convince her to drive the XC90 T8. I have a Model X and the XC90 T8 is amazing. I was really hoping to be able to charge our new XC90 T8 with my Tesla HPWC, and this adapter has made it possible. The XC90 T8 only has a 20 mile range, but with this charging adaptor, my wife can pretty much use my charger when I am not around and drive purely electric. I am excited to see how long we can go without going to a gas station.
