In the past, making ice cream without a machine consistently never came out correctly even with books on how to do it. There just seemed to be something wrong in the procedure Until I bought a copy of this book. 'Ah HA', the light came on in my mind when I read about cooling various parts of the process in the refrigerator over night. That made a Lot of sense because a person does the same thing making whipped cream by hand, and I just hadn't remembered this Fact.So I'm Extremely Grateful to "Maria Sobinina" for taking her time in writing the Easy procedure into each recipe, and for gathering lots of Yummy recipes that I'm going to be Happy making & eating too as I LOVE chemical Free ice creams made at home. Thank You.

Great book easy recipes. In less than an hour I made the best cantaloupe ice cream I could ever want. Just be sure to use ripe fruit for the fruit flavored ice cream.

I like this idea of making ice cream without having to have a big machine. I have not made any of these recipes but next time there is a family get together there are two I'd like to try. I also like these recipes because I know exactly what is in the ice cream.

Nothing is clear in these recipes, and they are not healthy in the least.
