Decent bass
Just installed so can't speak for durability. I'm also just breaking it in so I haven't tried to push it, but it sounds decent so far. Have it in a truck box that slides in behind the Tacoma's fold down rear seat.I had a ported sub box with a 12" MTX jack hammer sub sitting in the back seat and the Pioneer will not hit as hard as that, and I didn't expect it to. The Pioneer does it's job though and is much better compared to stock. The bass is clean as well with no distortion so far.

Wow!
I picked up 2 of these in a shallow box made for behind a truck seat. I was not expecting what I got from the sound! These hit really hard and are very musical! If you are looking for bass that flaps your ears, these are not it. But if you want something that will punch you in the chest, these are it! The box I have is only .37 cubc feet per sub running a 500watt amp @ 2ohm. I am very surprised how good these are!
