Secret Agent 6th Grader 3: Extra Large Soda Jerk was an enjoyable read. The illustrations were simple and complimented the easy-to-read narrative.The story is about a 6th grader named Brody Valentine who joins a tongue-in-cheek agency that is bent on recovering an important object known only as "The Horseshoe". The story is full of humour and is written in such a way as to be enjoyable by an elementary school student. There is a lot of material in here that a youngster could relate to.Probably the best part of this story is the pace of the plot and its simplicity. Mystery novels tend to get rather complicated in my opinion, which can be a big turn-off. This novel, however rates high in the readability factor.This story doesn't take itself too seriously, as the school itself has elements of fantasy, with nooks and crannies that wouldn't ordinarily exist in an elementary school. The characters, though, are down-to-earth yet quirky, as humans normally tend to be.I won't tell you what the great mystery object ends up being (that would ruin it), but it is very silly.This book is great fun.

My 11 yr old will love this book for his birthday

My son loved this book. He has read all of Mr Emerson's books. I wish he would do more diary of a 6th grade Ninja. That was his favorite series.

This book, extra large soda jerk, is the best book in the series, including diary of a 6th grade ninja 1 to 5. But I wished at least one of "the powers that be were revealed. Maybe Brody is the leader of Glitch.

This book was a fun, action-packed adventure that left us guessing. It is a great book to read out loud. There are a lot of twists and turns. Well done.

I never expected Cob to be a madman.Book had more twists and investigation.Sooo I guess Soda Jerk is stupid than intelligent and also really slow at running.Chris moss had no brain in this book.Cob spended his time making a stupid plan and spying in Glitch .But stupidness isn't enough to stop Brody.The story isn't like that but I am saying Brody or good guys always win.I like laughing about Brody's last name which is Valentine.Now to the book.To be honest this book was really good and of course it is because of Emerson and Noah.Just loved the twists and I laughed at how Cob fell into his own trick I mean I guess not but he spoke stupidly and the speakers repeated what he was saying for the whole school .Read the book to find out how Linus managed to connect to the speakers with glasses(You will understand it after you read).Soda Jerk is a stupid person and Cob is brainy but also stupid.But Soda Jerk and Cob are villainous you can't deny that.Brody keep rockin and rollin like a agent man and also please write more books Marcus and Noah.Book is awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Marcus Emerson and Noah Child are frickin amazing authors.

Nice to read

This book is one of the best books I have ever read. It's really funny as well as being really tense and exciting. This really is must read!

I recommend this book because it is a great thriller for younger people and it has good ways to describe all the characters.
