Really like this umbrella! It is very sturdy feeling. It is easy to open and close using a handle to crank it open. It has different levels where you can adjust the position of the umbrella and it is easy to do. The umbrella is too heavy and you need to use either the weighted base (which is sold separately) , something very heavy to hold cross braces down, or you do have to option to screw the cross braces directly into the porch, which I thought was a great feature. The umbrella is very easy to assemble but it does require two people to assemble. (The umbrella portion is heavy! And you are required to lift it onto the base). The items instructions were easy to follow and all required tools/screws were included). The item is made in China. It was also packaged nicely and arrived quickly than expected. Two issues I have, item did arrive with a dent in the pole on the base (even though it was packaged nicely and there was no visible damage to the shipping box when it arrived) and there are pinhole tears in the top fabric of the umbrella.I do recommend this umbrella! It is affordable and the quality of the item seems great!

This is the best umbrella we have ever owned. Much better than the more expensive sunbrella that broke in half after one year. This umbrella is now over four years old and still in excellent condition. I put it down when it’s windy, but leave it open during light rain. My husband was moving a metal chair and ripped the fabric, but we patched the rip and no problems. The fabric has thinned so hoping to find a replacement for only the umbrella because the hardware is still like new.

The quality of this umbrella is decent for the price point- the metal portions are very heavy and sturdy. It was easy to assemble, operates smoothly and covers a lot of surface area. The fabric of the umbrella itself is a little thin, but I can’t complain too much since it was $160 when many comparable cantilever umbrellas like this are $400+. My main complaint is that in the product photos, the metal looks black but in reality it is definitely brown. I really wanted a black umbrella to match the rest of the furniture, and considered returning it but it would be too much of a hassle as the box is very large and heavy. Overall, I’m happy with it, just wish I knew it was brown. The only other thing I wished is that there was a way to lock the umbrella in place when it is closed. It sort of just hangs there and sways back and forth. The only way to secure it is with two short ties with Velcro which seems a little flimsy given the weight of the umbrella.

This is our third cantilever umbrella over the years and by far the best quality, especially for the price. We were hesitant about the rectangular shape since our previous umbrellas were round, but we actually like it better for its uniqueness. We ordered the red umbrella and love the rich, toned down color. If you are looking for a bright red umbrella this is not it. The bronze colored stand/pole is very attractive as well. Due to the corner positioning of the umbrella on our deck, we have previously bolted the base of the pole itself to the composite decking and were hoping to use our current bolted stand. However, this was not the case since the top portion of the new umbrella pole is designed to fit over the lower pole instead of inserted into the lower pole base. Non the less were able to bolt the new base to our deck. We love the fact that the umbrella has various swivel as well as height/angle adjustments and each setting can be locked in. The fabric is definitely water repellent and has yet to fade in this summer's sun. When ordering this umbrella you need to order the recommended weighted base (we didn't because we were bolting the lower pole base to the deck). Ignore the reviews that state the umbrella doesn't stand on its own and blows over. These buyers have obviously failed to pay attention to the details. We would not hesitate to recommend this well made and designed umbrella.

This is a great outdoor umbrella that can be used anywhere in the backyard, deck or patio. We set up a small swimming pool for kids to play water in the summer but there was no shade in my backyard so we did some research online and finally decided on this one. It arrived on time in a good package. The set up was fairly easy following the user manual. I really liked the fact that this model can tilt and rotate which provides a nice shade during the time of the day. You can pull it to any angle easily with the handle. You can either nail it to the ground or need to purchase the base weight to make it portable. Overall it was a great purchase and it should be a quality product that can last for years.

We just needed a replacement canopy, because ours faded and weathered. 1 year before the COVID pandemic, their excuse was they couldn't keep up with demand. During the 3 years of the pandemic, they claimed supply and labor shortages (understandable). A year later, going on our fifth year, they now simply won't even respond to telephone and emailed requests to see if we can get our canopy replaced -- AND, we're offering good money to pay for a replacement! Do not buy from this place!

I absolutely love this umbrella but unfortunately I had to sell it for like 70% less than what I paid for it 😔I live in an apartment and this umbrella is made to be in the back of a home. I have a pretty large deck at my apartment but it required a lot of effort to extend. I hid the gutters when opening it and laid on the roof shingles. The tilt feature is the best part, it glides with ease with the grip handle! It’s a massive, sleek and quality umbrella! When I purchase a home with a big backyard, I’ll purchase this again!
