I drink large bottles of water and this has the hook for the tree and where the cap goes is the feeding area... this is easy to fill , and easy to hang on branch... The birds love this and are here everyday, all year round. so convenient and better than the other ones , you just unscrew the 'bottle cap part' and I have a scoop that I use in the can I keep the bird seed and its so convenient to fill....... great product and good use of old plastic bottles.... just not too good when bears find them,, but the birds will sit on a branch and wait for me to hang it for them... so cute.

From day one, birds did not come to this feeder. I thought the green soda bottle was not enabling them to see the seed, so I changed to a clear bottle. STILL NO BIRDS. My neighbor has hundreds of birds. For some reason, it seems like the birds are afraid of this feeder.

The plastic hook seems cheaply made didn’t use time will tell if it the bottom will last in the Florida heat lasts I used a metal hanger instead of the plastic top hook

Great idea! Wish it were more universal size.Very disappointed this product does not work with the average 16.9 water bottle size for Toddler project.No one I know drinks soda!
