SPANX Skinny Britches Short

When I first put them on, my legs started to go numb. I realized that I have to be careful to pull the legs down as far as they will go. Then, they really did feel like nothing, until the temperature of the day went up. Then, I could definitely feel them, and they felt hot and sticky. So, for me, they are not good for summer. I think they'll be good when it gets cooler, probably good under dress slacks to church.

I live in such a hot place, and as a result I don't like to wear shape wear because when I do I end up sweating buckets.these skinny britches are light weight and hold their shape great. If you're looking for a bit of support in those summer dresses, and flowy skirts I highly recommend this product. ALSO: I have worn these under high waisted trousers. They are an airy dream.

Okay, let's get the caveat out of the way: the waist rolls. If they could fix this, they could probably charge obscene prices and still make a mint. If you need stomach control but your thighs are fine, these are not for you. These are for moderate thigh control.Even with the annoying rolling, I love these. I love them. It's amazing that these hold in as much as they do but are so thin and light. The moderate amount of control means you can wear them all day and not be dying to get rid of them by noontime, but they get the job done.Other reviewers have complained about longevity but these have been washed numerous times (delicate cycle, regular detergent, hang to dry) and there haven't been any seam or stretching problems. This is my first pair of Spanx of any kind and I'll be buying a few more pairs.One more caveat: I would not wear these under pants. There tends to be a visible line above the knee.

These hold you in. Keeps your tummy in. The problem I had was the legs rolled up. I would have liked to find this really thin spanx with long legs or Capri legs.

These slimmed & smoothed my thighs and stomach wonderfully. Unfortunately after only a few wears, while putting them on my fingernail poked right through them.. I was very sad.

They are comfortable but too tight around my legs, leaving a visible line where they end that you can see through pants. I wear a size 8-10 pants, so a large should fit.....

don't like the legs ride up a bit, I do move around a lot so I needed them to be a bit longer

If you need just a little holding power these are for you. They are comfortable, light and easy to put on and off. When you wear it, use it as a panty so you don't have any panty lines and if you wear pantyhose wear the pantyhose over it. The less layers the better the comfort. Also, if you need to wear it everyday, buy two. I went up a size so I would more comfortable.
