Works perfect for my old XP computer
I bought this because of the cheap price, expecting not much, however it repalces an old WD hdd without any problem. After cloning and removing the old one, this one booted flawlessly. This hdd is very quiet comparing to the old one.

Maxtor Drive worked fine
I replace a failing Maxtor drive with this drive. I was able to clone to this drive and everything worked fine.

Old tech was what I needed for my bartop Arcade machine
I needed an IDE hard drive in order to get an old pentium III motherboard up and running for my bar/table-top arcade machine running. This fit the bill exactly as needed.

Sold as new, but was manufactured in 2005 and was refurbished. Had many hours of prior use. There is a problem with booting from the drive, although analysis shows no flaws.
