Noisy for its purpose
I would like to highlight that this hard drive is very noisy compared to the one that I replaced (2TB) in my NVR Surveilance recorder. There is a constant ticking noise as the heads move.

It's loud
This drive is loud. Put it in the NVR for almost a week, so far so good. The first one they sent me was defective. Have to return that one.

Working great so far
I put this into a RAID-1 mirroring enclosure with a Seagate NAS drive. The combination appears to be working fine with no problems, although this drive is only being used for storage of documents and media, not a particularly demanding task.
