ASURION 3 Year Electronics Protection Plan (for Products with a Price Between $70 - $79.99)

So rating something like this is rather difficult actually, I haven't needed the service yet and I suppose... that is really a testament of the product to which this warranty covers. I don't plan on needing it and until I do, I can't fairly rate this on the topics it is rated on. (I.e. Tech Support or Ease of use) The Value however is great even if I don't end up needing it. It does provide ease of mind thinking that for a small investment, the cost of my product is protected and I could be fully reimbursed... I imagine they realize that if I do need the service and find it to be a difficult task, that I will be back here to change the review accordingly. I picked up the product it is covering on sale so the cost to warranty it with Asurion was a net wash. Other reviewers have used this service and report great results so for now, that is what I will go with as well.

Process for a claim was easy, quick and took no time at all. Got my claim approved for the ammount I paid. Thanks for making the process user friendly to navigate. 5 stars!

I purchased a few "Outdoor WiFi security cameras w/Solar panels" and added the Asurion 3 year protection plan for each of the cameras. Very good thing I did! After 11 months, one camera wasn't as "weatherproof" as advertised and went completely dead, and the Micro-USB charging port on a second one broke off when I tried to plug it back in (I took it down to download some videos saved on the XD card). Now I'm down 2 cameras and like many areas, there is an increase of nocturnal 2-legged pests checking cars/sheds/garages. I pulled up my Amazon order, and contacted Asurion through their chat feature. The agent was very polite, professional, and walked me through the process for returning the defective units. In less than 30 minutes everything was finished and I had the RMA labels in my email. After boxing the units up and dropping them off at UPS, I received electronic gift cards from Asurion within a few hours. The new cameras are on order, and will be here tomorrow! The transaction through Asurion could not have been any easier, and their response times were really fast. If you're purchasing anything that costs more then $40 and is probably cheaply made "in a far away land," I highly recommend investing the extra few bucks which is much cheaper then buying a new unit.

I normally don’t buy the warranty but so glad I did! My son’s baby monitor stopped working and I contacted the company and within a few hours they sent me a return label to ship the items back. A few hours after I dropped the package off, I already received a full refund to purchase the items again. I was super impressed with the quality of service and how easy it was to file a claim

This time it was quick and easy but now I'm having another claim and it's being so difficult I can't find the gift card and they can't just send me a new one I don't understand you can sucks you just like it I will not do this again pay all these money every month for to be giving me a runaround

Asurion is great service if you are anxious about purchases that cost. They were quick to refund without an argument when my DVD player stopped functioning. I used to think these kind of insurances were an unnecessary waste of money but now I make sure I take out the extra. Manufacturing quality has diminished to the point where you're not sure how long anything either mechanical or digital will work, especially electronics. There used to be pride in manufacturing excellence. Now they just want more of your money as often as possible.

My Tozo Open-Ego earbuds are an accessory that I wear daily. From phone calls to music to streaming, I love them. I even wear them while driving because I can hear my surroundings with them on. Well, the charging case decided not to do it's job anymore, so I filed an easy online claim with Asurion (not the first time) and within a day or two I had an Amazon gift card to replace them! Easy-Peasey. I am NOT tech-savvy, so for me to say it was an easy, fast resolved claim, I'm saying a lot. I never, ever bypass the opportunity to purchase a warranty when offered on any item because of the peace of mind it brings me. HUGE THANKS to Asurion!

Attempted to file a claim within the time frame of the plan. Asurion made it extremely difficult to do this, wasted two hours. The plan doesn't say that you need to have keep and submitted copies of the purchase receipt for the item and it also doesn't state that your have to have to keep a copy of the Asurion receipt. They require you to send them photo copies of these receipts. They have all of this information in your Asurion account, including who you purchased the plan through (Amazon) but still require you to jump through all these hoops. In summary they will do everything possible to make it difficult you to file a claim and for them to have pay any claims.
