Two months of walking. Heels worn down to need replacement. But--no heels--all one sole.
How is it possible that a $200 pair of shoes should need new heels after two months of wear? The return window closed after one month. Seems like very big cheat. Was I wrong to expect that the shoes would last a year or so? MOST DEFINITELY, DO NOT PURCHASE THESE SHOES! THEY HAVE GARBAGE SOLES. NOTE; continuous sole and heel and so if one wears down to far and ruins the shoe----no chance to repair! CRAP, CRAP, CRAP!

Comparing SAS Men's Bout Time Oxford, Guardian Lace up, Navigator Non Slip Loafer, Time Out Walking
I tried out four SAS Men's shoes. Here is my take.Bout Time Oxford - This one is the widest. The other three fit similarly. This is NOT non-slip.Guardian Lace up Shoes - This one fits tighter than the Bout Time. This comes with a non-slip sole.Navigator Non Slip Loafer - This one fits similar to Guardian, but tighter than the Bout Time. This also comes with a non-slip sole.Time Out Walking Shoe - This one fits similar to Guardian in the toe area, but the quarter is too high and rubs against my ankle.

High quality, these last about 8-10 years easily, well worth the price.
I have been buying these SAS for years. One pair lasts about 8-10 years and the only reason why I replace it is because the sole wears down to the leather. I am keeping my old pair just in case I can resole it. The stitching and leather holds together without much care. The price is excellent for this quality shoe. Since I had a pair before I knew the size and it fit perfect. These are very comfortable and are worn every day for years. Hard to find stores around that carry these as they are not something you find at Walmart.

Perfect fit for "an expensive foot"
I wear a 10B, and many, many years ago a shoe salesman told me: "Son, you have an expensive foot." And so it has been: hardly any shoes in 10B, and those that were available were often very expensive. These SAS size10S shoes are, therefore, a happy find: a real 10B at a reasonable price for shoes that fit perfectly and are extremely comfortable. They are not pretty and the soles are, well, "clunky" (hence 4 stars instead of 5). But the shoes provide really excellent support and are about the most comfortable I have ever worn. This is the second pair of these shoes I own. The first pair was size 10N, which SAS describes a C width, and I would agree: a bit too wide for me, but still fit OK -- but not as well as the 10S.Update 4/23/20: A year-plus after my initial review, I am still exceptionally pleased with these shoes. The 10S is still a 10B, and fits perfectly, while the 10N (which I also still wear) seems to be getting ever more wide and "sloshsy."

Exactly what I ordered, fast delivery
It’s exactly what I ordered. Fast delivery.I have a pair identical to what I ordered but I have no time to go to store. The shoes I already have are better made. The only real problem with the shoes I had — the heel needed replacing. I live in Miami area and all the shoe repair shops were too lazy to reheel my shoes .. they just would not. So I’m forced to buy online. The material used is cheaper ... and I feel will Big last long fir 200 shoes. But I bought it online so —- I’m stuck with my decisions. When time becomes less of an issue I’ll visit store locally and butvtyr shoes I know will last ...I grew up working in an USA shoe mill so I know since the 1960’s horrible cheap products come from other countries—- sold in America. These days you pay too much money fir the crap people sell as great products. Knowing I was getting crap was expected

SAS - Consistent Quality
SAS makes quality, comfortable shoes that are consistent and correctly sized. This is my third pair and they fit as well as the first ones I bought twenty years ago. This is especially important for someone like me with a triple E width foot (“Extra Wide”) and who walks 30-35 miles per week. Recommend ordering a half size larger than usual so you can wear a thicker sock like the Thorlos. These shoes may not be pretty but they are very comfortable and they last.

Extra Narrow hard to find
I ordered these for my better half. He has AAA or super extra narrow feet and there are only about 3 pairs of shoes I can find on this planet for him. This being one of them. They fit really well and hold up. He uses them for work. My only complaint is that extra narrow shoes are super expensive. Why not start charging people who need extra wide shoes more money? That would make sense, if you require "more" of something. Please start making more shoes in narrow widths.

Very comfortable and reasonable at the 30% off I got
Great shoes what more can I say !!!!!! This is my 3rd. Pair. Only better shoes are Mephisto and they cost 2x as much and wear out in 1/2 the time.
