I have to tap more than once to unlock. It does not seem to recognise my unique set fingerprint right away. Other than that it’s a great pad lock to use

I used this as a padlock on the back of my van, the reason I chose a fingerprint one was to facilitate rapid removal. The first day I used it, it decided not to open to my thumbprint (it was cold so maybe that alters prints slightly) I had to unlock it using the admin setting method, then replaced it, re-imprinting my thumbprint. When I arrived at my next stop it had fallen off on the road somewhere. So, you may have noted that I unlocked it using the admin-setting method, this is a process done wholly with the padlock, no leads or anything so, if you know how you could unlock any of these anywhere!!

Reviews before this indicated that the product was a little hit or miss but I purchased this out of desperation because I needed a lock thin enough that could pass through the zippers on my backpack and honestly I don't think the reviewers before me read the instructions before setting up the lock. The instructions were a little hard to read but the manufacturer has also been nice enough to provide a tutorial on the lock on YouTube so I was able to get this working flawlessly within 10 minutes.

Can't beat the price right? Well the first one came and it woudn't open. I charged it and read all instructions (easy since there isn't much) and googled a bunch and tried everything. Nope. Emailed company who were SO nice and said they'd send another out right away.They did. This one worked! For a week. Then it wouldn't lock. At least it didn't break closed.So really nice people but they need a more reliable product. Sorry

I bought this for my laptop bag, I set it all up very easily and I loved it!After about 3 hours, I needed my laptop. I opened the padlock and used my laptop. Then I put my laptop in my bag and I couldn’t lock the padlock, it wouldn’t click in. The fingerprint sensor kept trying to register a new fingerprint but kept failing. I’m really disappointed because this product was absolutely perfect for what I needed.

I had second thoughts after I clicked purchase button because it's kind of expensive but I was proven wrong, this one works great and really easy to set up your fingerprint and it's lightweight and with the wide availability of USB charger no need to worry about not being able to unlock it.You can save up to 10 fingerprints which mean you can share it with friends and family. Recommended !!!
