Stylish printer that has great print quality
The media could not be loaded. The Good:-Great print quality-Easy set up-Small footprint-Quiet-Stylish and can fit anywhere even in your living room-Abilty to use HP instant ink service if you want it-HP iOS app works wellThe Bad:-Paper tray is a bit small so not really for high volume printingThe Bottom Line:This is a small printer that doesn’t take up a lot of room and has great print quality. It takes HP 64 print cartridges and is very easy to set up through the HP iOS app. The printer is very stylish and looks great on your desk or anywhere in your home. The printing itself is quiet and smooth. Printing pages is pretty fast but pictures like all printers take a little while. The printer also has the ability to hook up to HPs instant ink subscription service which I did not do. Overall a great quality and stylish printer!

Had issues with prints
I love this printer. I wish I could keep it! Honestly, if this works for you and you don't get a defective product, the ink is so cheap! However, I personally received a defective product. I tried printing on sticker paper and when they tried to blame it on that I said, "Well I have HP ultra white which is what you said this printer SHOULD be capable of printing on! It's YOUR brand!" Granted they couldn't argue when the issue was the same as what I experienced on the sticker paper. When we tried to print, the pictures would come out pixelated. I don't know how to explain it, but you can see the 'dots' of every color in that picture. Nothing was blending or smooth. It was so grainy! Even on the HP recommended paper. I did the cleaning, alignment, etc and even redid it with tech support on the line. The guy determined that the issue is the cartridge. They sent me defective ink apparently and perhaps the machine is also a defect. They arranged for ink to be delivered, but in all honesty I've been waiting for over a week or so now. I'm tired of waiting and this thing is just gonna go back. The printer itself looks like an apple product, the lighting is nice, and the sound pleasant. The printer is also very quiet. I do love it and wish I could keep it. But it's defective and I'm not about to follow through with warranty for a 'refurbished' product when I bought this brand new a few days ago. It makes no sense. Thus, it's going back. Maybe one day I'll try it again and my luck will be better. Maybe I'll get a non-defective product. But for now, it gave me a headache and I'm not patient with their 'support' while my refund window is ticking.

Very sleek printer with pretty good document quality and ok picture quality
First of all, the setup process was very streamlined and simple. I was able to print from my iPhone, iPad, and Mac almost immediately and without issue. Once you set the printer up on one device (I did it through my iPhone), it's basically set to go for any other device you want to use it with. It's a pretty decent printer for documents. 1200x1200 DPI for black prints and 4800x1200 DPI for color prints. The tray (which I think looks much better when the flap is closed) holds up to about 50 pages. It's definitely not a heavy duty printer, but good for my needs (college papers, occasional amazon return labels, and a bunch of pictures). The picture of my Corgi was shot on an iPhone XS Max (12 MP). It's slightly grainy at "best" quality. Not terrible, but it doesn't compare to better photo printers. The Linear Algebra ntoes were written and printed directly from the Goodnotes app on my iPad. I'm quite satisfied with the results as far as that goes. The star of the show, IMO, is the Instant Ink service. 2 months free with purchase and $2.99/mo thereafter for 50 pages per month and free unlimited photo prints. It detects when you're running low on ink and determines when the best time to send you replacements based on your printing habits. I'm looking forward to not dealing with ink replacements and trying to predict when I'll need to order more. The cost of the Instant Ink service is about 1/15th the price of buying brand new ink cartridges. Since I don't print that much, I can spread that cost out over a year or more and get exactly what I need.

If you have a Mac, don't come near this printer.
Set up the printer and all went well. Then was met with a barrage of email from HP to take additional steps to "enable web services", which is apparently required to use HP's "Instant Ink". Spent more than 1 hour today trying to get that done, but NOBODY on HP's help line knew how to do it. The rep tried a bunch of random things, none of which worked. Now it's a piece of junk and will be returned.

Good printer, be prepared to run out of ink!
First things first, my family loves this printer (so far), easy to set up, easy to use. However, the color ink cartridges that come with it must hold about 3 drops of ink. After about 15 pictures being printed (4X6 mind you) it is out of color ink!!! I signed up for isntant ink duirng install but it looks to take a flipping week to get here. So here we sit, wanting to print pictures taken from a family get together while famlly is in town and no ink! Luckily I had new cartidges for my old Canon and was able to print copies for everyone, but to be honest if my kids didn't like it so much (while it had ink) I'd send it back. I'm tired of being screwed by expensive inkjet refills that don't hold any ink (the reason we bought this was for "unlimited" up to 5X7 photo printing...oh well, maybe I can start using it again in a week... If the instant ink service and cartridges aren't any better, back this printer will go-which is too bad because we really like it.

The description can lead to misunderstanding of the operation of this device.
In order to scan or copy a document with this printer, you must use a smartphone to take a picture of the document then transfer it to the printer. You cannot scan or copy from the printer. Many other companies offer this wireless/ smartphone option but they can also be used by a PC or laptop, since most can scan directly from the printer.Once unpacked and red the minimal instructions and talked to a HP rep because of lack of instructions, i returned it.

Photos are all purple
We received the printer fast. I really liked the design, the packaging the concept of ink refill, I basically loved the printer till I actually printed a few photos and they are all coming in PURPLE.How is this possible from a brand new printer? Sadly I am returning it.

Arrived broken
Device doesnt print anything besides 5x7. HP gives you the run around on replacement. Set up outside of Amazon return window which i regret but i literally had zero time to get it going and didn't anticipate such a god awful experience. Avoid this printer and HP products.

Replacement was ordered, but the second one works great for almost a year by now
Shipping was fast as promised in 2 days I received it. Package was ok, everything looked well. Printer looks very nice and well made. Set up process is really easy and quick. I was so happy to see first 4 photos from my iPhone. When I returned to use it same day in the evening, first my phone lost connection and wasn’t able to find it. I check troubleshoot page and had to spend around 40 minutes to fix everything back. I printed around 25 more pictures and 26-th came in magenta colour! I tried 2 more - the same thing. I installed application to my PC and tried to print on a4 size paper - it was magenta again (See picture attached). Moreover this application for PC noticed that printer detected colour cartridge as not new and genuine! But this cartridge came in the same box with printer, it was included. (See screen shot from my pc attached)I ordered replacement right away. Will give it one more chance. If anything else happened will return it for sure and change this rating to 1 star.—————I edit my review and now it is 5 star. Love this printer, using it pretty much and the quality is very good. I didn’t have any serious issues with the second one. I subscribed for HP monthly printing plan offered with this printer. It is so great! Cannot believe such thing does exist!

stylish and smaller then most fax/copier printers
I like the photo quality and how the ink seams to last awhile. everything is by bluetooth so a y troubleshooting issues can be done wirelessly back to HP!. did take me alot of trails to try to connect to my Samsung galaxy. first wifi direct worked then 30 mins later it finally reconized the pri tr apps I installed days ago. it's pretty straightforwards to print anything off your phone. ie. photos, documents, black n white or even smaller pages. still Alexa will not reconized Tango and it says the printer should give me a code but not here. dont know if its supported in canada yet.
