The product worked well out of the box, and continued to work well for a week of applications after first use. However, a few months later, and certainly a year later (after storage in a climate-controlled garage), the product no longer works. The wand tip is either a stream or a mist, which I can deal with, but the wand connection to the trigger/grip is designed poorly. It does not lock well, leading to pressure loss and very poor spray patterns (more dribbling) unless I apply direct pressure and hold the wand against the trigger/grip handle. Further, the nut holding the spring opposite the trigger has o-rings that expand or are just poorly fitted, as they often slip onto the spring and cause leaks at that juncture, further leading to loss of pressure and a dribbling wand tip.Extremely disappointed given the high reviews. But at its low price and questionable company (see missing website, lacking customer service, mistake-prone instructions), I should've known. It lasted for the first week, so there's one season of use for $20.

The last return date for my purchase was October 25th... a tiny, plastic piece that makes the whole thing work broke on October 26th, after (maybe?) a dozen uses. And I purchased the Amazon-suggested extended warranty from a third party— but that only applies when the initial warranty runs out, and as no info from Amazon LLC nor from Rainmaker is posted or provided, and as there is no way to contact either party in regards to faulty parts, the aforementioned Amazon-suggested extended warranty was just a waste of money, time, and trust.

The right strap is supposed to hook to a slot on the lower right side of the base but it does NOT stay connected. I have to "hook" it on the front side (side farthest from my back) of the unit, and I'm glad there is something it could hook to. I recommend that the redesign has the same connecting feature on the Lower Left Side, but just position both on the back side (side closest to a person's back). The Straps should not attach to the unit at the sides.The pads on the straps are very helpful. It was almost completely assembled right out of the box (4-gallon unit). It was very clean, had all the pieces. A nice unit except for the placement of the straps as mentioned previously.I just use this for watering and it is perfect for what I wanted it for. I hope it lasts many years.

After ordering this sprayer three years ago, I just want to say that without it, I would be in a world of hurt. My driveway is over 800 feet long and that's a lot of driveway to keep clear of sprawling grass and weeds. This sprayer has been my best buddy in combating nature where it's not wanted. Year after year, it charges beautifully and together we're able to tackle the unrelenting growth. I'm a 65 years old woman and have absolutely no problem with loading this sprayer onto my wheelbarrow. It sprays continuously and the gauge lets me know how much charge is left. It holds 5 gallons of liquid and will continue to spray even after the five gallons are spent. The only drawback is that the handle to the body of the sprayer tends to spin; therefore, I suggest securing it on a more reliable platform such as a wheelbarrow. Otherwise, it's difficult to pull along by itself, especially on uneven ground.

Love it! My husband bought two half gallon pumps(hand-powered) which broke down quickly. I counted 80 pumps for an area of a sq ft and the yard is over half acre so I'm EXTREMELY happy with this product. How long the battery can last depends on the setting you choose. I will recommend it to anyone with a big yard.

Item will not roll once filled because handle will not stay in place so item is useless. Company will not pay to have it returned and will not give a refund so i do not recommend dealing with this company or buying this expensive item. It is cheaply made and does not work as it claims.

I seal my driveway and backyard paver back porch every year and have to put down 15 gallons of sealant. It works great, easy to clean, and great to maneuver 5 gallons of liquid on wheels. It worked great for 3 years but this year the battery would not charge and had to buy a new one. Same make and model. Could be my fault as only charge the battery and use it once a year. I would recommend it as I myself just purchased a new one. Cost to hire someone to seal my driveway was $3,000 so now I purchase material for $300 and use the Rainmaker. Paid it self off many times over.

How could people make a sprayer that does not work? All that has to happen is that it is pumped up and squeezing the trigger makes the liquid come out--this one does not make that happen. All I got was compressed air coming out along with the occasional spitting of the liquid.I recycled the box when I put the sprayer together or I would send it back. Who would have throught that a pump sprayer would not work? More likely it would have cost me to send it back so that is throwing good money after bad.I think Amazon needs to realize that every single item they sell can be purchased somewhere else. The arrival dates have become guesses and the new delivery system is not good.Strike 2 for Amazon.
