need an extra hand
Due to spinal cord injury I need an extra hand to shoot a handgun while hunting and this one gives support with some flexibility. A little awkward for me setting up and heavier than the extreme rest, but that could just be me. I use both of them on bog pods bi pod to allow for easy changes in elevation. The tri-pod makes these rock solid but you lose some flexibility.

Used it on an elk hunt and it kept my shots steady with a specialty pistol in 7 WSM.

Good rest for pistol shooters
Wish it would have had a lock for 360 swivel

LOVE IT!!!!!!
I purchased this rest along with the Super Steady combo from BOG. While the item in the combo do well supporting my long guns and crossbow, this is great for the same plus my hand guns. I am a disabled hunter/shooter and my BOG equipment is a blessing. My shooting has improved greatly and I am able to do a lot more of the sport I enjoy. I have also found the BOG gear to work well with cameras and other optics...

BOGear Precision Shooting Rest
There are not many shooting rests on the market for pistols. This one is wonderful for longer distance shooting with rifle type pistols. There are many shooting rests out there for rifles and very very few for pistols. It's bulky and somewhat heavy to carry around on the BOGear Pod, but when it's needed, you're happy to have it.

Great accessory for shooting scoped pistols when at the range ...
Great accessory for shooting scoped pistols when at the range or when hunting in the field. Also great for use in a ground blind. You can mount your pistol on the rest, use a small bungee cord, and let is set until you need to shoot.
