Kipling Leah, Black Combo, One Size

My mother got this for me as a gift when I started grad school.Pros: It is a very attractive bag that has held up to moderate use- I have used it for about 2-3 years now and it's held all my notebooks, my 13 inch laptop, pens, pencils, lunch, hats, sweaters, you name it. The bag is pretty large so I wouldn't say it's for everyday use. It's extremely durable- stains and spills just wipe off, which is great. I do A LOT of traveling as well and this bag has not let me down. I have literally gone all over the world and this bag has reliably held everything I needed. As I mentioned I've been using this bag for a couple of years and it still looks brand new. The style is quite nice so it's not so trendy that you would be embarrassed to be seen with it next season.Cons: This bag fits a lot and gets very heavy. It doesn't have longer cross-body straps so it really weighs on my shoulders and has given me some back pain. All the pockets and compartments are very convenient but can be a bit too much. There are just way too many places to put things and I have found myself digging through too many nooks and crannies to find things. It gets annoying. This bag also slouches, which is something I really really do not like. I can't stand when bags slouch and you have to pull it around here and there like a wet rag to get your things out. I wish it had some stability and was made of something a bit firmer. Also the bag is not waterproof so if you're caught in the rain you may have a problem.Overall: If you need a bag to hold a lot of things, perform it's basic function of holding your items then this is a good bag. If you want something that works with you a bit more to make your life easier or save you a few minutes of time during your busy life, this may not be the one for you.

Great work bag. I generally have to carry a laptop, laptop equipment, files, 2 phones, lunch, and other items back and forth to work. Because I ride the subway, it's easier to have one versatile bag for everything than several smaller bags. This bag fits everything, without feeling bulky. It has 5 storage compartments besides the main body, that makes it easy to find things. It's also made of a very durable materials, so I'm not afraid that it's going to break when it's stuffed full.The black color and styling (including sparing gold accents) is sophisticated enough for a corporate office, but the fabric and fun polka-dotted interior fabric keep it from being stuffy.

I like the bag a lot, the size, style and color, however, after using it for about two months the liner inside one of the exterior pockets got thorn off, which is very disappointing. I 'm not sure if this product is genuine Kipling brand. I used to have Kipling (original) backpack that I bought in Macy's and it lasted for years, no damage/color change after heavy use. So, very poor quality of this bag, wouldn't recommend.

I have been looking for the perfect tote for months and have finally found it. I am using the back pocket for diapers and wipes and there's still plenty of room in the main compartment for iPad, wallet, books, etc. The front zipper compartment is perfect for things like phones and sunglasses and I was surprised to actually find another compartment right behind it. I love the fabric and the golden zippers make it look really sophisticated.

love the size, it's perfect for traveling. I bought this to use on long flight. I was able to carry a lot of stuff I need with easy access to them. And it fits well on shoulder, as well as sitting on top of a rolling carry-on luggage. Love Kipling's products generally, but for some reasons, they don't put side pockets in many of their bags (especially backpacks). I need side pockets to carry bottle of water. That's one of main reason that I bought this bag, besides I liked the size.

Not satisfied with the product

Love this bag - the lining is a bright pink color (unlike the pictures) which is fun. I get a lot of comments on how nice it is from others. The size is good and the pockets are handy although perhaps there are a few too many of them. It is also not rain or snow proof as the top zips don't seal and the ends, and the exterior pockets don't seal either. For me this isnt a big problem but for others it might be.

Excelent tote! I bought one three years ago for my oldest daughter when she began the university. I just bought another for my youngest daughter, who is initiating the university. It is resistant and has useful compartments.I really recommend this product.
