Cute, small, and worth it
I originally bought these trays for a certain type of fishfood that needs to be mixed and then frozen, but I use one of the trays to make ice cubes instead. The lid is a nice feature to have, as it keeps water in while transporting the tray from the sink to the freezer. The size of the cubes are small enough that they fit through the opening of a plastic water bottle. Sometimes the ice cubes don't want to come out of their little homes, so you have to work them out, but it's not too hard. The trays are also perfect for the fish food that I mix up for my Plecos. The cube sizes are just right so the fish don't over eat, the tray itself is just the right size for the amount the mixture makes. If you have plecos and buy Repashy food, these trays are perfect for that!

Not too floppy; volume is 2 teaspoons
I recently became obsessed with "chewable" ice (aka "Sonic" ice), and found out that you can make a reasonable facsimile with carbonated water--or soda, which has the added benefit of not watering down your drink. Small shapes work better, and I thought these ice molds would be a good size without being ridiculously tiny, and are more space-efficient than other mini-ice trays I have. Of course I can further control the size by filling them only part-way.Notes:--Most silicone trays are rather floppy and difficult to transport when full of liquid, so I have to put them on a cutting board or baking pan to get them in the freezer; these are pretty firm.--Each well holds 2 teaspoons, if filled to the top. For freezing liquids, you may not want to put quite that much in. The whole tray will hold 12 tablespoons + 1tsp, or 3/4 cup + 1 tsp--While covered ice will not shrink or pick up as much "freezer flavor" as uncovered ice, the silicone will eventually get odiferous, as I discovered to my great dismay earlier this week with an older tray. To keep these pristine, I'm considering limiting their time in the freezer (make ice, empty into a bag or container ASAP, then keep tray on kitchen shelf instead of in freezer), or putting them in a Ziplock gallon bag while in freezer. Or maybe silicone can be deodorized with a baking soda solution

Cute, Quick clean, Fast ice cubes...not so easy to remove cubes
The media could not be loaded. Ah, life. My automatic ice maker doesn't work. Bummer. Covered ice cube trays are a must with a lot of ppl reaching into the freezer (why can't THEY refill the trays for me?!?!).Yes, they have covers. No, the covers are not tight at all. More of a...separator between ice cube trays. Eh, it works ok because I am careful to stack them and careful to not move them until frozen. Not quite what you would need if you have children. We love the hexagonal shape (we have an apiary). Took me a while to find a 'fast way' to get the ice out. I have a little arthritis, so I wanted silicone to make it a little easier. (see the video). They are cute! They are easy to clean and fill. They freeze rather quickly because they are small.I do not love them because it's a bit of a pain to get the ice out.

Compact but wobbly!
I bought these so we could have some smaller ice cubes for iced tea. I love the compact size of them but I have found they are kind of wobbly when they are filled with water. Don't overfill them to make it easier to get them out. Also run water over the top and the bottom and they push out easier.

Good product
I use this to make little pumpkin ice cubes for my dog. Removing the ice cubes are easy since the product is flexible. Also a plus is that it comes with a lid so they can stack on top of each other. Be careful when carrying especially if you are filling with water, if you aren’t gentle it will spill over.

Um, don't like all that much...
The idea of these is great. You get a lot of cubes in a small space. They are a pain to fill and take out. We use water in gallon containers to make cubes. so I end up spilling quite a bit of water upon filling. I do like the covers, though. I feel it protects the cubes. When the cubes are done, getting them out is a hassle. I have tried a few different ways and am quicker now than the first time, but it is still a chore. I had plastic trays prior to this and they are now breaking, so I wanted something easy and that wouldn't break. They are okay, but I really don't like them. Of course at the price I paid, I am stuck with them. One other positive, though: My son's water bottle has a narrow opening and these cubes fit well.

Not quite what I expected
If you are looking for every day usage ice trays -- keep looking. These trays make small cubes. Nothing wrong with that; however, it will take a lot of these cubes to fill up one of my 30 oz. glasses. Instead I use them with my smaller glasses. You have to let the trays set out for a couple of minutes before trying to remove them.

Cute tray.
Super cute honey comb ice tray! Its a little bit smaller than expected yet works for its purpose. The bottom feels kinda thin and almoat feels like Im about to rip a hole through the silcone if I push too hard. As for use its kinda hard to remove the ice since water does expand when frozen so it doesnt pop out so easily for me unless i wet the tray.
