I got my box and it had enough stuff to ship 17 VHS tapes. They did a great job turning them into MP4.Will. W sending a lot k no more nice work.I labeled all my VHS tapes which is a good idea so you know when they copy them you know which MP4 they are.Really. Quick and great job!

I bought this item for $14.99 and I failed to read that the cost of digital conversion wasn’t included. When I got the box in the mail, it has a notice saying I’d have to pay for the digital conversion and the original item would be sent back included in the cost and I’d receive an email with details when the item was received and I was like ok...that sucks cause I didn’t read it but that’s fine, it was my fault for not reading. I wrapped it and took it to a Fed Ex store then I get an email saying they received my item now I need to choose how to have it converted. The cost was $12.99 plus an additional $11.99 to send back my original. So I’m paying for the cost of the digital conversion and the cost to return my item which I thought was included in the original price...so total for one Hi-8 to be converted to digital media I’m paying a grand total of $40.....FOR ONE ITEM. So essentially all that is included in the $14.99 you’re paying is for her is for someone to send you out a pre-paid box and label. Grant it, I failed to read originally but they weren’t forthcoming with all of their prices even after I got the box until I received the email and they already had my memories...if I had known all of this in the beginning I wouldn’t have gone with this company. What a rip off. $40 for one video conversion!!! And now that they’ve got my tape and sent me the prices my options are to have it sent back without conversion for the $11.99 and have spent $26 to ship it back and forth without conversion or pay shipping and the additional $12.99 for the conversion. Prices are not shown up front so it forces you to just pay up or lose out on the shipping costs anyway. I’d look elsewhere.

The iMemories SafeShip Kit allowed me to successfully pack and send our many 8m sound movie tapes with no fuss. First tape dated back to 1974. An email delivery response came quickly, with copies of the tapes in the "Cloud." Fantastic memories!!

I was dragging my feet to have this done. I just got my downloads and it brought be to tears. Just awesome to have these videos, many of which I had never seen.

This is an overpriced service for those who do not have the time or inclination to do the digitization themselves. It is far too simple a process for myself to have it done at a higher cost than for what I can do at home. One can scan multiple photos and/or negatives on a scanner, and only requires minimal equipment to transfer VHS to digital, and doesn't not require additional shipping costs to have ones original items returned to them.

Wanted to test iMemories on a couple of old VHS tapes and the results were less than stellar. One tape was from a BVI dive trip taken many years ago and tape was starting to deteriorate. I was able to copy it using ain inexpensive converter but was not very good. IMemories produced some dive footage but not from my trip. No idea where it came from. I’ll be copying my other VHS tapes using the inexpensive converter.

When the arrived, the package was destroyed, the box I was supposed to use to send my very important memories with. I did not feel very confident about that. Just scared to lose these memories.
