Great product from Azatom - again!
I searched for a sound bar to go with my Toshiba 32" TV which I have in the kitchen. Like most TVs these days, the sound from the TV is terrible and we could never hear it with the kettle on or the extractor fan working.I found it hard to find a sound bar small enough to fit under a small screen TV - most of them seem to be for huge TVs. This one fits perfectly though. The sound is great with plenty of bass and clear speech as well. It really fills the room so I can actually hear the TV while cooking. We've tried playing music through the Bluetooth connection and that was very easy to set up . Again, the music sound was pretty good. Easy to change input settings and equaliser settings with the neat little remote control. Nothing shows on-screen but it speaks to you to let you know the settings have been changed. Different inputs are displayed with a different colour indicator LED.I would say that this isn't an auditorium-filling sound system, although, having said that, it is plenty loud enough for me.I choose this one without hesitation as we also have the Azatom Bluetooth speaker which is aewsome and great value too.I would highly recommend this sound bar and any other Azatom product.

Great sound for a great price
Use with a cheap argos TV. Big improvement in sound quality, I find the bass a bit much, but it's easy to adjust so no complaints, and it's probably to do with its position more than anything. If you've use more expensive speakers then you might be disappointed, but for the price and in comparison to a cheap TVs internal speakers its worth it!Stereo field isn't great though, definitely havent noticed much spread in the sound. Again to be expected. Also, optical/digital is a must vs headphone/3.5mm, not because of the sound bar but the limits of the TV, we found it distorted without the optical cable. This is to do with the TV though because we also had this issue with a more high end speaker.

Great sound, great value - superb product
I wanted a compact Soundbar for my study, something that would fit under a 27" Monitor and give good sound quality. Well, this is it, the Azatom Studio Compact-HD SCHD100 Soundbar, whats more it is Britsh designed.. bonus !It is compact, it comes in at approx 55cm or 21 ½ inches for the oldies like me. sits neatly in front of my monitor, is unobtrusive and very easy to set up. It is rare I find gear that I am really impressed with, this is one of these.Dr N

Not compatible with Logitech Harmony
It's is great speaker. Looks, feels and sounds like an expensive speaker but is actually very cheap.Unfortunately they killed it for me by adding a 20 minute auto-standby. I use a Logitech harmony remote control. This allows me to push one button and have all my devices switch on and set to the correct input. Unfortunately due to the auto-standby the speaker and harmony get out of sync. Harmony thinks it's switching on the speaker but it switches it off and vice versa. This isn't something I can live with unfortunately so I'm going to need to send this otherwise brilliant speaker back and get another brand.

Great value for money
An excellent soundbar that I bought to replace my old Bose soundbar. The product arrived via Parcel Force and was well packaged. The instructions were very easy to follow and I had my soundbar up and running in next to no time. The sound quality is very, very good maybe even better than my old Bose. All in all an exceptional soundbar that is very good value for money. I even had a courtesy call from Carol Anne at Azatom to make sure I was happy with what I'd bought, which was a nice touch too.

form and function
well made unit, remote control functions ok, (ideally could be larger for me no problem fitting battery use a coin or similar to open battery compartment ) bass in my opinion is very good , setting 2 of 3 seems right for me, it could ideally do with some rubber feet or pads for shelf mounting , ( moves about on a glass shelf with its own vibrations ! )all in all an excellent buy for a restricted mounting space , soundwise this is more than capable in an average lounge on half volume.

Average and sounds very boxy.
I bought this based solely on reviews here at Amazon as I could not find much via an online search. I have been into audio for 38 years but it at this price point, I wasn't expecting perfection (sound wise) or anything near that. As long as it was decent then great.I set it up and I was immediately disappointed. The first problem was the reviews. Its simply crazy. The second issue was no Cr2032 battery in the package for the poorly made remote. Third was no optical cable. I had a battery and spare optical cable by total luck. The battery fitment is opened with a penny. Turn it 90 degrees and flip the cap off with your finger nail.I turned it on and it was very average. The first problem is the speaker arrangement. If you use it sitting in front of your TV, you will then realise that there are no front facing speaker drivers. Why? Its an absolute necessity. The main speakers face sideways. The two base type drivers face upwards. The end result is a total lack of midrange and it sounds very very boxy. I returned this and bought a Bose Solo 5 which is obviously more expensive, but it is in a totally different league. If you want a soundbar that sounds better than your flat screen speakers (which wouldn't be that difficult) then go for it. If you are after a soundbar that sounds musical, with natural open sound then this won't be for you.

Does it's job well.
It looks good,it fits because,in my case, I need a short bar.So far so good! The sound. Well,it is a massive improvement on the basic sound ( A Samsung UE32F500 32" LED 5000 class). Voices are clear and music is enjoyable. The various settings are good, but standard does the job in most cases. My only complaint? If you adjust the Bass,a nice female voice tells you what you have done. Nice...BUT..she SHOUTS it at the level of a Stranglers rock concert!! I have no idea why,but it is RIDICULOUS!! Luckily you wont hear her often, because once you choose your bass setting, you will tend to leave it alone. A weird quirk that defies logic,it can be funny but if it is late at night and you are trying to make less noise, this insane woman WILL wake the dead. In the next town. Apart from that,I am very happy with it,and I would recommend it. Cheers!
