You can't go wrong with Kitchenaid. I bought this as a gift for the mother of a friend of mine to replace her Black and Decker. She absolutely loves it. It starts very gently and smoothly accelerates as you take it through the higher settings. The beater ejection makes it easy to undo the attachments without making a huge mess if you're mixing something slimy. She uses it all the time, and it's very quiet and durable. It's also about the size as most other hand mixers, so it's easy to store it. And she loves the color.

This mixer is a great value. After trying several other brands I found my way back to kitchenAid. I purchased this for my vacation VRBO home and it's exactly what I wanted. I love the blueish gray color to match my decor and most importantly it is a very well built mixer. Has plenty of power and is easy to use. It's also very quiet, I hate those loud whining mixers that you can't even carry on a conversation over. I highly recommend this product.

I love this Kitchenaid mixer. The 5 speeds are great for all levels of mixing, but my favorite is the lowest speed which is very gentle and prevents spattering of ingredients which was a big problem with my old hand mixer. I also appreciate that it’s very quiet. The beaters pop out easily too. I highly recommend this Kitchenaid model especially for those of us who have shoulder problems or some weakness in the hands because it’s lightweight & very easy to use.

Easy to use, great quality and mixing, doesn’t make a mess and compact easy to clean and stored

I normally used a stand mixer in the past but this demanded a lot of counter space as well as moving a heavy piece of equipment to do my mixing. In the interest of space and ease of cleaning I decided to purchase a hand mixer. I've now used this hand mixer to make a large variety of baked goods, from muffins, to cakes, some frosting and even bread. The mixer has a great number of speeds which is perfect for not flinging ingredients all over your counters. Additionally the interface to change the speeds is easy to use and very intuitive which is wonderful for times where you may want to start the mixing slow but then speed it up after the ingredients have begun to be incorporated with one and other. The mixer also came with a lot of attachments out of the box, the beaters are great for batters and frostings. However I was pleasantly surprised to see a pair of dough hooks and a whisk. I haven't used the whisk yet but the dough hooks! let me tell you what, I never expected a hand mixer to be able to handle dough as well as this thing does. Such a small tool was able to handle enough dough for me to make two pizzas without even having to break out a stand mixer or manually knead at all. Lastly the hand mixer also came with some nice add-ons like a bag that's able to hold all the attachments which will certainly help with not misplacing them.. or at least keeping them together so you're not digging through drawers for one of the two beaters. There is also a great rubber strap on the cord for the hand mixer which helps hold the cord in a shortened bundled state rather than completely uncoiled. I would highly recommend this product based on my experience for it's easy of cleaning, the power it's able to produce, how easy it is to operate, and the versatility with the attachment's that came with it.

This mixer is so quiet and so strong

It’s lightweight, easy to use, and has plenty of power for everyday mixing. I like the different speed options, and it handles everything I’ve needed so far without any issues. I’ve used a few hand mixers over the years, and this KitchenAid 5-Speed Ultra Power mixer feels like a noticeable step up in quality. It’s lightweight, comfortable to hold, and surprisingly quiet compared to older mixers I’ve owned. The Ink Blue color also looks fantastic on the counter — very premium without taking up much space. The 5 speed settings are well balanced. Speed 1 is gentle enough for folding in ingredients like chocolate chips or nuts without making a mess, while the higher speeds handle whipped cream, cake batter, mashed potatoes, and cookie dough easily. I especially liked how smooth the motor felt even when mixing thicker ingredients. The swivel cord is one of those small features you don’t think about until you use it. Being able to lock it on either side keeps the cord out of the bowl and makes mixing much easier. The eject button works cleanly, and the stainless steel beaters are easy to wash. This isn’t meant to replace a large stand mixer for heavy bread doughs, but for everyday baking and cooking it’s excellent. Compact, reliable, easy to store, and feels built to last. Overall, this is a great choice for anyone who wants a quality hand mixer that performs well without being bulky or overly complicated.
