Graco 1 Second Ear Thermometer

After one of my cats... yes cats... fell ill, I realized that having a home thermometer that could quickly and accurately measure their temp should be a must in every pet owning household. This one is perfect for exactly that task... it measures temp in, quite literally, one second and has a small reading probe that easily fits in small cat ears (as I'm sure it does in small human baby ears too!). I like how the reading window gives a smiley face for a normal temp and a frowny face for a high temp. Obviously this is all based on human temperatures, so its not appropriate to signify normal vs abnormal cat temperature, but its cute and functional nonetheless. Great product, great functionality, highly recommend!

I like this thermometer because it is really easy to use and the kids don't mind it one bit. My toddler was aprehensive the first time around, but I quickly turned him onto it by demonstrating on my own ear first. The item is compact and has a digital read out. It is great because it has a memory of the last temp that was taken. When you turn it on, it beeps and a backlight makes the screen glow. after a quick "diagnostic" check it displays the last temp taken and at this point it is ready to use. Just stick it in the ear and press the button until it beeps again. Then it displays the temp and a little happy or sad face at the bottom. The face is my favorite part because it is quick and easy to tell if they have a fever, especially if you are like me and don't have enough room in your brain to remember the temp for a fever. The batteries didn't last very long for me (about 5 months of average use), but it takes a standard 3 v watch battery. It has auto shut off which is nice, plus a little storage bag. The bag is something that is easily taken for granted, but I can tell you right now that I am glad it come with one because a) it won't get dusty sitting around in the drawer/cabinet b) if the kids get ahold of it they have to actually take it out of the bag to cause damage (at which point they will be caught with it before its too late). The item seems durable enough to me. I have been using it for almost a year now and nothing has gotten jammed up or broken which is somewhat of a miracle considering the quality of most products these days.

Such a good thing when you have a fussy sick baby or small child even. It's super fast and accurate. I needed this alot cuz my child had an immune disorder so when the temp would spike up we had to rush to the hospital. I carried this with me all the time on my diaper bag. Good small size and you can just buy new batteries when needed and change them easily. It has a smiley face for when the temp is low which is a nice touch as well.

I had a forehead thermometer. It is never accurate and seem so off. I got this hoping that it could be more accurate as you know checking baby temperature is so important. I used it and wow this thing is fast and the readings are much more consistent than forehead thermometer. The size is a bit small for my hand. I understand it is a baby product but mom uses it so it should be designed to be more user friendly for moms and dads. I like the reading display which is huge like I can never get the reading wrong with the numbers being so big.

I got this for my 8 month old and it works perfectly! I usually read reviews before buying and, luckily, this was an exception. I bought it and then panicked at the reviews. When I finally got it - a friend brought it over to Brazil for me - I was absolutely relieved, it works perfectly! No more fighting my boy for the 3 or so minutes with the thermometer under his little arm! Turning the measures to Celsius was a piece of cake and the temperature is taken very quickly and accurately. I absolutely recommend it.

Super simple to use-I can pin my toddler down and get a reading super quickly while she's screaming and squirming. Only problem is I don't completely trust it. It changes with every reading. When she was really sick it seemed pretty accurate. I give it 5 stars because this is the only thermometer I can use on my daughter so that's what counts!

Literally the day before my son was born because he came early I ordered so many things offline to prepare for his arrival & this was one of the tools. This thermometer is great & safe for taking babies temp when needed. It won't hurt nor bother your child as it is very quick to give you an accurate reading. A Must have for all parents new & continuing.

Disappointed with product. Only half of the 11 unit I order are working. The other half are telling me "LO" (battery I assume) and I have only had the devices for a week. Also have found the device does NOT work with ear covers for multiple users - listing did not say this so I not only order covers for my 100 students (that I can't use) but I also have to manually clean them all for each students use which takes up teaching time. I would be okay with the cleaning part but not working batteries on a new product is very frustrating and costly.

Muy útil y práctico. Sencillo de usar. Medir la temperatura de un bebé siempre es dificil porque no cooperan, pero con este es mas fácil. Quizá da la impresión de ser un poquito fragil. Pero ya se verá.

Después de 3 semanas dejo de funcionar correctamente. No ha sufrido ningun golpe, ni ha estado cerca de humedad, solo marca dos temperaturas. ya lo apague quite la bateria etc... y sigue sin funcionar.. ya tenia malas reseñas pero no las lei a tiempo.
