Excellent knife
First rate small pocket knife. Excellent blade - sharp and stiff with no lateral or hinge movement in the handle; blade locks well. Tough handle and relatively light weight - can easily be carried in a pocket.

Tk4 almost perfect
Today I got my new Fallkniven TK4. I opened the very nice presentation box and was very pleased with the size of the knife.Reading the size is not the same as having it in your hand. It is the perfect size for an EDC folder. Not too large and not too smallI would say it is capable of handling the normal cutting tasks of life. I also carry a Fallkniven TK6 fixed blade for my heavier cutting. Then I grabbed the TK4 out of the box. The first thing I noticed was how slick the zytel handle was. Way too slick for my liking. The zytel is lightweight which I like and I'm sure it is strong enough but it was much too slick. I fixed this by taking my sharp pointedSoldering iron and stippled the handle. This made the zytel absolutely perfect. The sheath the knife comes with is also almost perfect. It's well made with a heavy Velcro closure but the knife fits a little too tight in the sheath making it hard to extract the knife. To fix thisI added a lanyard through the hole in the knife and now I can pull it out with no effort. Once I added the lanyard I was glad the knifeDoes fit a little tight. Now for the blade. The blade is a work of art. Perfectly centered in the channel and very very sharp. Most knives I take from the box and get out my stone and finish the edge but this blade needs no work at all. It is perfectly sharp. The blade geometryIs fantastic and the 3G steel which I have on the TK6 also is top notch. Now for the price point. I'd like to see this knife around the $100Mark instead of $150. I think that would be a more fair price. I am a big fan of Fallkniven and have several of their knives, So I'm a little moreForgiving of the price point but someone new to the brand might not be. Personally I would rather they skip the expensive presentation box and pass the savings on to the consumer. I've seen some complaints about the lack of pocket clip but I rather Like the sheath instead of the pocket clip.In conclusion I'm glad I got the TK4 and with the mods it is for me the perfect EDC folder.

Excellent choice
This is a very nice light weight pocket knife worth every bit of money spent.I don't use the sheath for everyday use but will use the sheath for camping and other outdoor events.I have found this knife to be very useful for everyday home use and I plan to use it for outdoor winter & summer camping.

Could be perfect
It would have been perfect pocket knife if the handle had little more weight in it. I understand that a good quality sheath would have added in the price, but the handle was too much to digest for me. Too light and weightless for 200$+ pocket knife. Having said that, still love Fallkniven and its TK series.

I have never owned a Fallkniven blade before this one. I found this interesting as it was recommended by Ray Mears and I needed a nice folding blade for EDC. First of all this had a manufacturing defect and there was a deep grind groove parallel to the edge. Bad QC that should have never left the factory. Second, the quality of the knife is not what I expected for an expensive high end folder. The handle material was flimsy with sharp edges. The badge in the handle protruded and was glued in very sloppy. I would not recommend this knife.

Dommage !
